Have you guys thought about adding in a line counter or something like that? That way we can see that it stopped at line (pr around line) XXXX and know that we need to start at that point.
Thank you for the feedback. I will share it with the team.
Yeah, when there's a power outage, and you're using a laptop it should be cool if Lightburn stored the last coordinates and the last step so you can just continue, or like some previous steps, it could be helpful in this cases, for me it's pretty common in my country 😢, a power backup isn't an option because it's not worth the spending, and loosing material is not cool
Thank you. This saved the project after a power outage. You guys are awesome.
Glad to hear!
Your video just saved my product/project. Thank you so so so very much!
Gotta tell ya....this saved my asp a few weeks ago one I saw it on the forum. Several hours into a photo burn, poof. No power. Restart, slide forward on the preview screen, and we're just about perfect. Had to redo the entire photo when I got a bit of overlap, but it was a bit light to start with. The 180 change, yeah, that's the best for not doubling up and my go-to from now on.
Sweet thanks
Wow. Y’all are awesome. I have messed up jobs before and didn’t realize I could do this. Such excellent software… Cheers!😊
Awesome thank you! Your software is excellent. I was introduced to LB after buying my first Diode laser. I now have 2 diode laser and my first machine is a CO2 laser that uses its own proprietary software, which in my opinion is a black hole, so I won't name the name. Your software is so refreshing to use, and it obviously is becoming the industry standard. I am trying to convince the manufacturer of my CO2 to make the machine compatible with LB. They should focus on making machines and not developing the software, leave that up to you LB. Thank you for your excellent product and continuing to make it better and better every day!
Thank you very very much 👏
Wow, thank you! What a program! You guys rock.
This helped me a lot, great video.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
nice video
So "current position" mode will not apply for this tutorial?
I was using current position" when I had power outage, when the power was restored, I open the preview windows and aligned the red cross-hair using the slider "as explained this tutorial" to where the laser head had stopped and ran *start from here*. the laser head jogged away to different location and start engraving somewhere else (maybe it considered the laser head is at the job origin and where I actually wanted to resume)!!!
Can you expand this tutorial when using chuck rotary, same goes for *Understanding the Different Start From Modes in LightBurn* tutorial, specially when the chuck has only one axes coordinate and the other is for rotation😕
I’ve had much better results using the feature in the preview screen.
Does this also work with a Omtech CO2 laser?
Yes. In general, unless a video says something is specific to a particular laser, it will work on all supported lasers.
@@lightburnsoftware7189 ok thank you
