I run a similar team with a fighter, golisopod and a tank:
Poliwrath
Golisopod (w/ X-Scissor)
Giratina Altered
Only real problems are Tapu Fini and Virizion leads, but I've absolutely come back from them many times

Neutral match it’s like nidoqueen back in the day. It’s so broken. It need a nerf
13:47 it still would have been a better call to stay in with Golisopod, let the Giratina take it out, and bring in Steelix. If the opponent then swapped in obstagoon, or scrafty like you thought it could have been, you would have been able to swap in a full health Cobalion instead of half health and would have been even more comfortable.
Tried a team of golisopod, tapu fini and virizion. Worked well for a bit and then the cresslias and bad leads started popping up everywhere.
Hey ZyoniK!! Love your content, I watch all of your videos religiously and am doing my best to get to veteran over this weekend. I've got excellent IV Golisopod and Steelix core but I don't have either a Cobalion or Virizion that I could run. What would you recommend as a safe swap? I've been running Poliwrath and love it, but Charizard and Tapu Fini have been decimating my team anytime I come across either of them. Thanks!
I run this with walrein instead of cobalion, it struggles a bit more against tapufini, but it works just fine
I need like 80 more golispod candy to actually use him. He is sooo cheap luckily and doesn’t need xls. I have a rank 6
I caught a shundo Onix the last day of september. I IMMEDIATELY powered it up to 2491 and have been running it in UL. It does really well. I"m putting all my XL's into the 0-15-15 steelix I have that maxes at 2478. Throw a BB ribbon on him and he'll beTHE TANK

Niantic: how can we make our community go out and gather even more data for us?
Also niantic: i know lets give the most random pokemon some op attacks so people are forced to go out n search for these new meta pokemon...
Try Pidgeot/Cobalion(SSwap)/Virzion
Thank god this rocket weekend has all leagues available, I loathe great and ultra league, give me ML where everything you build is good for PvP and PvE

Swap to cobalion, it has stone edge
Can you use poliwrath instead of cobalion?
Steelix, Cresselia, Poliwrath is better suited.
I don’t like Ultra League as much as I don’t like Master League, can’t build any of the meta Pokémon, either too much stardust or I don’t have the legendaries
I like them too.
I am not a fan of Cobalion

Realignment might fix it but if golisopod dies and there’s a single fighter like virizion , you are done. Relies upon saving the golisopod when he’s in the lead
It's a shame you can't win or have fun without running the same boring shit as everyone else. Horrible game design
I really hope that this very clearly rigged game mode burns and niandic 2 worst pvp experience ever
