I used to like Articuno a lot. With XLs and meta updates, though, there are a bunch more potential counters for it, especially on the Steel side of things. It definitely has its plus matchups, but PvPoke has Shadow Articuno ranked at 146 and that honestly feels about right. As an Articuno fan, though, I still appreciate the content.

I have a hood ultra league iv shiny shadow articuno that ive been debating on using but i have had 0 motivation to play pvp for the last 4 months. So sick of getting stuck at the same elo every single season.

Articuno is surprisingly bulky and plays a similar role as Aurorus but without the double weakness to fighting. Honestly a solid pick in the current meta.
