Mind blown!! I'm a beginner at playing the flute-- the point you made about "true angles" relative to the head as it is being tilted solved the issue I was having. Thank you!
Great advice. I sometimes get a high whistle sound and I think it mixed in with an odd angle and the rotation of my flute forward or back. great video 2x👍
Thank you. Your EFFORTS to TEACHING, HELPS so mannnnny, that I hope, that you Always feel MOTIVATED , to keep you going. Thanks a million again. 👍🏻🎉🏆😀🥇🌎🕊🎊
Mr. Suzuki, I have an issue I'm struggling to solve... I'm having trouble keeping the lip plate on my lip. That is, after a while, my flute tends to slip down my lip, and more so with the bigger breaths I take. I'm wondering if I'm not pressing hard enough or maybe I am pressing too hard? or maybe my right arm placement is not being supportive enough? this issue becomes more frustrating throughout my practice sessions as I almost feel nervous I'm about to drop my flute when i go from mid C to D (as the fingering goes from one finger to all the opposites down).
Another awesome video,Thank you so much lance I am so learning so much from you just within a month it's crazy keep them coming I so appreciate it!!Pc you're talking to Janet l am using the seen email as my husband peter
It's very worrying that flutists spend thousands of hours in performance and practice with their heads tilted to the right. This is a recipe for the development of cervical spinal stenosis - which is NOT an outcome anyone would ever hope for.
