Adastra is a reimagination of our timeless 8Dio Adagio and Agitato String libraries but super-powered in Soundpaint with an emphasis on playability and emotional realism.
Soundpaint makes the Adagio Strings come to life by offering both true polyphonic legato. 127 discrete velocity layers for things like non-vibrato to vibrato and an infinite amount of dynamics and round robin for short notes.

Thanks Troels, great to hear the release is coming near. Question: I can see you're using version 2.6 of the Soundpaint player. But my 2.5 version cannot be updated as yet. What's new in 2.6?
Good observation! We will be issuing 2.6 prior to the release of Adastra, since its highly CPU optimized and contains a variety of improvements to both our H.A.L technology and bug fixes in the engine etc.

Hi. Yesterday i heard about soundpaint and free piano. I tried. I think something problem in piano. When i play higher notes twice sometimes its not sound well. Sometimes sustain cut. Also when play lower notes and then play higher notes of the piano sustain cut. Im using clavinova yamaha to connect pc. I used other arturia labs and other vsts but its work verywell. Is there bug or something?

Can you break it out into individual sections?
Yup! This video is just demonstrating all four sections together. The library comes both with programs for individual sections (11 Violins, 8 Violas, 6 Cellos, 4 Basses) and Full Ensemble, which is what I am covering in this video. We have other videos coming demonstrating the individual ensembles.
On 2:20 I hear strange sounds like a very fast tremolo (on one of the violin layers) in my monitor headphones. Hope you fix it by the release date.
