Thank you for a great review of some awesome lights. We actually produce the reflectors for some of them. Always wanted to build one of my own. I worked for a company called Pichel Industries back in the eighties. They produced a pretty amazing light called the Mini-Nova. 75 watt short arc xenon with a 10mm focal length parabolic electroformed reflector. A very similar set up to the Peak Beam but without the focus mechanism. They also made a halogen light called the VIR 100. Same reflector, special 100 watt lamp.
Thanks for sharing your time and some of those monsters in your collection! You're channel is the only one besides Project Farm that I've "rang the bell" for:) I can't get enough of that LX70. I've had the Night Reaper, PH50D, and FF5 is on the way, but that LX70 always seems to me like the pinnacle of handheld HIDs. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your collection, and more informative reviews about the high end HID throwers you have. Thanks again!
The Maxabeam in my opinion isn't that great, low light output and an average beam profile, tho, yes it can sure put light a long way down the road. For distance I'd recommend the Lemax lx70, 8000 lumen And it will throw further than you can see👌🏻

Great, your video is much more impressive but the even good commercial for the Lemax. But I think the beam is wider but the one of LEPs like Weltool W4Pro and Maxtoch L2KSD, I am right? I am asking because I use it for lightpaintings I do need a narrow beam for. LEP are pretty good in it, but I would love the more lumen the Lemax have.

great video, i dont think i can afford a lemax just yet and im not sure if i even want an hid. Led seems more future proof. Would you say the tm39 is the best led thrower for now or is the acebeam k75 a better choice?
Really wanted to know what flashlights you have that are in this size range: length of 6" (150mm) or less, Head size of 2.5" (62mm) or Smaller and at least 6000 lumens. Also broken down by type of beam: floody, floody-thrower or pure thrower. Also wondered if you've created a spreadsheet yet of all your flashlights with a basic record for each flashlight by the manufacturer, model number, size (lenght, handle width and head width), weight, lumen output and beam type. This would allow your viewers to easily check of a few lights they'd really like to see a video of. It would be fun to see your Lemax LX 70 (50W/70W) version with the Smaller Headsize. I wonder what flashlights would be it's direct competitors?

@@srdlights7238 Thank you so much for helping with the links mate. The lights that I currently have in my collection are; Imalent ms18, acebeam w30, nitecore srt7gt, imalent dm70, thrunite tn42. I also had another srt7 but I lost it hiking. I’m a student so unfortunately I can’t buy all the torches that I want. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to buy the lemax and other pricey lights. But next up I’m looking at getting an acebeam l16 for my mum, and a imalent ms06 for myself. Edit: I also have a bunch of other lights from Bunnings and stuff such as the eiger lighthouse and one of those Coleman brand baton like torches.
@@srdlights7238 I’m getting the l16 for my mum for Mother’s Day so she feels a bit safer walking home at night. I like the l16 because of the beam profile because it has a nice hotspot that punches out like 600m but it also has a very useable spill not to mention the 2000lm output. Plus the user interface is nice and simple with the tail switch always going straight to turbo and a three click strobe on the side switch. Do you have any recommendations for other tactical flashlights?

i love birght handheld searchlights. and i think for big distances is maxabeam the best.

Why the L16? Any particular reason? Ms06 is a great light! You'll enjoy it!!
