Hi Michael, I like your reviews. Are you able to show us your setup for testing lumens and candela in a video sometime? I was just curious how you do it.
Thank you Thank you:) !! You're such a great guy!! And, yes, what a difference in beam profile. You definitely have the best Tools! Any thoughts about the Blf gt4 flashlight? Supposedly its running 4x sbt90.2 emitters!! Victor Nishimoto:)
I'm confused about the announced runtimes of these lights. On paper it looks like the K65GT (with 4x18650) almost matches the runtimes of the full sized TM39 (with a battery pack of 8x18650). The modes are not exactly 1:1 comparable, but K65GT is specced for 10,5h at 600lm whereas TM39 goes for 10h at 800lm. On turbo it looks even weirder, with K65GT specced for 1h45min at 6500lm and TM39 for 1h30min at 5200lm. Obviously specced turbo runtimes are always fishy with the temperature regulations etc, and overall TM39 does seem to have more juice (as it should), but not by that much. The difference is even clearer when comparing K65GT with TM39 Lite. Is the Acebeam driver really that much more efficient, or am I just missing something?
For someone with as many primo flashlights behind you, and the few vids of yours I've seen already, I've yet to see any tests that tell how long these lights actually last at MAXIMUM (and or High1/High2) lumin so we know what to expect as far as ACTUAL runtimes. That's too bad because you definitely have the ability to give the viewer this info that seems to be one of the main reasons why so many people who buy these types of lights often find themselves with buyer's remorse.
Hi Will the 8 battery version put out more light than the 4 battery version or are both the same and will the 8 battery version give you more run time? thanks
@@lorenzocascone2038 It will step down when the temperature at the driver exceeds 65°C. So depending on environmental factors, it could step down in 90 seconds from 6500-3000 lumens, or hold 6500 lumens for 20 minutes until the batteries die.
Issues with that giant TM39...Same Light output...but who would want to carry around a huge torch..the acebeam just as good light output..but mutch smaller
Michaels SearchLights so wow 5850 lumens that's interesting, this light is great, the best in this category !! i think is better than the acebeam k75, it is sustainable at high output and is tiny and portable, thanks a lot !
Really usefull Michael! Great job as always, a pleasure watch your videos.
Thanks mate! I always hope people will enjoy the vids I make 😀
I have an Acebeam K70 and it's my favorite light when I need a thrower ..... Thanks for the video ....
I've not tested one. They have the xhp35 hi in them? Would be good on battery and heat being a smaller and less power hungry led. 👌
Nice work👌
michael it would be great if you review the tm39 vs acebeamk75 ! thanks

Hi TM, Thank you. Ill look in to it. See how I go👌
Hi. Love your work. A quick question about the Acebeam K65 GT. Can I use the 18650 3500mah battery instead of a 18650 3100mah battery!?
Thank you Thank you:) !!

You mean the gt94? I have a review on it on my channel, see what you think?
Good . Very good . Thank you
Thank you!
Hello sir , I like this video very much.
I was thinking of buying one of these two.
Which one do you recommend?
Much appreciated!
Good morning friend. I recommend the TM39. It is better in just about every way.
Bom dia, me indicaria o Tm 39 com baterias 18650 ou uma thrunite TN 42.v2

Great video man!
May i ask, is it possible to get direct turbo access via double click from the turned off mode?
With the tm39 or k65?
@@srdlights7238 Sorry mate, the k65!
Yes it is😀
@@srdlights7238 Ah, thanks!

I don't believe it will be brighter. Yes, more batteries, more run time.
good review that 1 ive got the K65GT and your right it gets fooking hot quick HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH nice 1
Indeed
how many minutes the k65gt works at max power ?
@@lorenzocascone2038 I'm not sure off the top of my head but may 2 minutes before it's roasting. It heats up quick.

So basically, you're paying more than twice the price and size in order to keep it cool enough to hold.
I have my eye set on a TM39. Is it still a viable option in 2021 or are there better options out there?
In my opinion, the tm39 is still the best.
@@srdlights7238 Thanks for that, will most probably get one then!
It has a smaller battery option as well. Called the lite I think.
how many minutes the tm39 works at max power before to stepdown to a lower level ?
Not sure mate. If I get time this week I'll have a look.
@@srdlights7238 have you checked how long before it step down and to wich lumen does it step down to? Love your channel btw
so if i understood the turbo is about 4850 lumens ? based on your tests ?
5850 I'm pretty sure.

In my opinion it's the best thrower. Nitecore spent some time perfecting this one. It's one of my go to lights. And trust me, I have a lot of lights.
Michaels SearchLights great thanks man !
Too easy. Is there anything else you'd like to see in my reviews?
