Harvested the biggest buck of my life. Only 6 points but busted off a couple. 5.25 inch bases 180 pounds carried the mass through the horns.

45 years old and this is my first time ever deer hunting. Season has been in for 2 weeks. Plenty of opportunities to get one, but holding out for a big one. Having a blast just sitting and watching nature do it's thing. Should add it's whitetail gun season

Scott, great message to those younger kids, whom are watching the channel that need a little talk to let them know that it will work out down the road, but it takes time and effort to get there. A long ramble maybe, but an important ramble more so for those who struggle with school.

I really appreciate you taking the time to share this message, I was born with malformed legs and what most call high function capable Autism. My father was told I would never walk and that I would never function as a normal member of society. In fact, he was told to put me into an institution (asylum). Back in the early 70's that also implied forgetting that i existed. Dad didn't have it - wanted no part of it. Yes, I have had my fights but I am a USN veteran and currently I am an Electrician for Carrier Corp. Soon to be Multi-service...again. it's an industry thing I took the job knowing the position was being created at this plant. Multi-service is Mechanical and Electrical Maintence.God-Speed and following seas. PS. Scott aka StrongArm they call me BottleJack or as my friends from Jordan call me "The Big Green Man" funny name for a 5'7" "cripple".

Some kids just get depressed going to school. My son was one of them. He dropped out of high school and went to work. He started driving rock truck for a huge construction company in our area. Now, four years later at age 22 he can operate all construction related equipment and is foreman on a crew making sure the job gets done. He is also making more money than the teachers that wrote him off.

Thank you so much Scott for sharing some of your story! My mom and I homeschooled for a few years when I was younger. I had my struggles with reading some what and with math as well. One day I could not get something and both me and my mom cried, because my brain wasn’t computing with what I had in front of me. We all of our struggles some days and we are not perfect, but with the Lord’s help we are perfect in his sight. I have trouble reading some long words, but for the most part I do pretty well. I try and spell out the words and see what is an vowel and what are the silent letters. Math I have a hard time with, I can do the basics 2+2 is 4 and 4+4 is 8. E equals square is above my head. Lol! Most of the stuff you learn in school you don’t really use in life, but if you become a firefighter, police officer or rescue worker you do need to know a lot. When I was younger I was diagnosed they say with autism. After awhile I had a huge physical breakdown and I needed help with pretty much everything. I ate with a spoon or a fork at the end of my finger tips and sometimes we ate burgers and during that season of time my fishing buddy and his wife saw the struggles I had. One time while we were over for supper he saw me eat with a fork at the very end of it and he said jokingly, “how do you do that?” Lol! I must have strong finger tips now. Lol! I also had anxiety through the roof and to space during that time as well and sensory overload was massive! One day I was in the washroom for not 5 minutes like most people are, but was in the washroom for 3 hours and it was exhausting. One little move of my clothes and it sent me over the edge. I’m much better today and now working at my job for 8 years now and everyone likes me! I do have a different time writing with a pen though sometimes, because of not knowing where some letters go. Thanks for taking the time to read this post. God bless and stay faithful to our one and only saviour Jesus Christ our Lord. Daniel from Canada. 🇨🇦

I see you're enjoying a beautiful fall down there as we are up here in Edmonton. With our cold, long, and usually somewhat snowy winters every day of this beautiful, sunny warmth is one day less of that long, cold winter we know is coming. I know a lot of people around Alberta love winter. Most of them don't farm, don't keep livestock, and aren't outside several hours on most days. As a kid growing up on a mixed cattle, forage, and crop farm in an era when tractor cabs were an aftermarket rarity I saw more than my share of being outside in -40° (and colder) temperatures with windchills often hitting -60°. So I always enjoy those years when our winter is shorter than usual.

Scott. My compliments to you sir for your talk about your growing up problems and learning how to put your life together. You should do motivational speech’s to younger people to help them find purpose in life like you have. Great speech you just have.
My compliments again. Extremely proud of you. Proud to call you my friend. Thanks Scott.
    Well done.
Bob and Colby. Enjoyed being with you two riding in the sprayer. Colby is a super companion for you Bob. And you to him. Really neat dog. Always enjoy his time with you. Good Dog Colby.
Bob my compliments on the way you raised Scott and got him to this point in life with his learning problems. You provided him with the leadership and guidance he needed to advance in life. I have great respect for you Bob and your look at life itself. Proud to call you my friend.
Nick. Wear the helmet. Be safe.
Sorry you did not find or get that big buck you were talking about. Hopefully if not this season next season. Hang in there.
I want to send my sincere and heartfelt blessings to all of the Welker families for a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!
Enjoy this gracious thanksgiving day with your families.

My talent is in the kitchen. My mom hated to cook, but let me try whatever I wanted at a very young age. I was baking & decorating cakes in HS. Started canning in ‘93, just turned 55. I love feeding ppl, sharing my gift. I can’t afford to donate much money to ppl in need, but I can deliver a meal made with things we grew ourselves. I’m the only canner in my family. They’d much rather have a basket full of jams & jellies, or soup & homemade bread then store bought gifts. Every skill I’ve learned, like home/furniture restoration plus cooking, was self-taught. You make mistakes then learn from them. It brings you so much joy.

So much in this video! Many years ago, I was fortunate to be sent to Montana, Great Falls area, and fell in love with the Big Sky country. The landscape that Nick was hunting, and Scott was herding cattle reminded me of the coulees that I saw back then. Plus, to have a dog like Coby is a treasure. Finally, I can relate some what to Scott’s story. I got through high school okay and earned an engineering degree in college. I had a good career with a major ag equipment manufacturer. After retirement, it finally dawned on me when I was most happy. It was when I was creating or solving a problem. My motto today is “if I am making sawdust, I am happy! I salute your whole family for persevering through the issues that you are dealt. It keeps this ol’ guy entertained! Good luck !

This is one of your greatest videos and collectively you set a high bar. Three of my siblings have Dyslexia and I think in a roundabout way it's been a blessing for them, one went onto to be an engineer producing parts for Rolls Royce jets engines and they thought so highly of him they created a special role for him to retain his services, one is great artist who I'm still sure doesn't realise how great her potential is and the other is again a great graphic designer and farmers wife, marathon runner who's so determined. I believe, their growth and sucess for want of more appropriate words have come from overcoming and learning to live with Dyslexia at a time when it wasn't recognised in schools let alone anywhere else. I live in there shadows proudly. Thank you for sharing your story with us Scott and it's great to see that your family are as proud of you too.

Nick it is nice to see a hunter actually hunt his deer. Around me is just road side hunting or driving their pickups all over the fields and pastures. Very few hunters that walk.

Hope you folks had a great year. My family farms in eastern ND and they’re wrapping up the year too. Great shot of the tipi ring, Nick. I’ve been an archaeologist for 50 years and have found and recorded thousands of them throughout the Dakotas, Montana, and Wyoming and still like trying to figure them out

Everyone struggles with something. I struggle with numbers. I can get there on paper but others around me can do it in their head. Not me. Numbers turn into a jumbled mess.
On the other side Everyone excels at something. You just have to find it. Don't give up, keep moving forward and occasionally a few steps back. But keep moving.
Thanks for sharing your story again. I believe it helps more than you know.

Its amazing that farmers have those experiences with wildlife. We have found baby rabbits, shunks, (yes the babbies spray too) duck, geese, crow, a juvenile hawk and just a coupke weeks ago we had a snow goose landed in our back yard. My son, he's 8, walked up carefully and was able to pet it and it walked away then flew off, not a thing wrong with it. Just a part of being connected to nature. Very cool!!

Scott that message i guarantee you just helped and uplifted many people no matter what age they are wow it sure it true.I kind of think of you as the person that makes welker farms run mechanically in the background and often you do things that nobody else prefers to do.
