UPCT - Linguistics: Le Verlan, French Slang

🔄 Have you ever heard of verlan? That French slang used to confuse war enemies, authorities or later, parents. Basically, to confuse anyone who speaks "normal" French. Chances are that even if you didn't hear about it, you heard it, it's all over French films and music from the 80s-90s.
