OMG...This needs to be taught. Humans cannot have total control over other Humans. 100s of Millions. Writers who lived during this need to be read. God help us be better. Requim indeed. We need to remember... I will honor them. Love to All... Please share this...
We have our own brand of "intellectuals" these days who are just as dangerous as the ones that educated Pol Pot. Kendi, DiAngelo, Dyson, Coates. God help us
The Left-Wing in North America (USA & Canada) in fact around the world, will never let this be taught to the children… Spread this link far and wide…..
For the record, the man who made the "omelette" argument, Walter Duranty, wasn't a Marxist. In his view Stalin was tasked with transforming a semi-barbarous Russia into a great industrial power, continuing the work of Ivan the Terrible and Peter the Great. The Marxist argument is that the working-class ought to expect the exploiting classes to put up resistance to efforts at obtaining political power and in socializing the means of production. To the extent that this resistance is absent, there is little need for violence. Of course, it is entirely possible for a Marxist such as Stalin to, as Mao put it, erroneously use "the methods that are for dealing with the enemy to deal with the people, with contradictions among the people." For instance, the arbitrary labeling of various peasants as "kulaks" (despite not having been considered kulaks previously) in order to justify forced collectivization. But this is hardly a strike against Marxism itself.
