Yeah, the challenge is not to make a shiny ball of metal. Otherwise BB manufacturers would be worshipped by tools like you. The challenge is to spend hours, weeks, maybe months, creating BY HAND, with PRIMITIVE HAND TOOLS, an object that is as close to perfection as you can make it. Dedication, perseverance, attention to detail. This video has made a mockery of those things, and this guy is almost AMERICAN in how he despises these worthy goals, and pisses all over them.
The whole point of aluminum ball is testing your patience and skill into doing something amazing by hand only. This takes away the achievement of such accomplishment.
Jesus Osvaldo Broch lmao this took just as long, required just as much patience and even more skill, plus the result was more impressive. I say this version wins.

I don't see the point in this . The whole trend is to scrunch up foil into a ball and sand it . Melting it down you might as well just use any aluminium alloy then
I think the purpose of the sphere made by the Japanese is to be able to create a smooth surface from crumpled aluminum foil using manual technique. By melting it is possible to make a winged horse with perfection. But I understand what the intention was. But even so, it gives a certain agony to see that the sphere was not balanced and perfect.

Well its a ball made from aluminum foil so yeah
Yep aluminum foil ball = 100% made of aluminum and aluminum = "100% made of aluminum foil ball"
Beautiful aluminium ball. 👍🏼😊
I actually enjoyed watching the entire video, it was very interesting. The final ball was beautiful! It is amazing what people create in their hobbies, especially when you have everything needed to do said hobbies. You seem to really enjoy what you do & you do it well. How much does that ball weigh? And what do you use them for after they are finished? On a lovely base they'd be great in a garden as gazing balls. I will have to check your channel now to see what else you create.Thumbs up from Canada!
I don't get why ppl are so crazy about this trend. I don't see anything that special, I'm not hating this video, in fact this is one of the coolest I've seen but I just don't understand what the hype is about this trend.
Annie Deng I guess because anyone can really make something that looks pretty cool, on their own with normal household objects. Then, everyone wants to make the shiniest smoothest one
The end product is attractive
Mythbusters polishing a turd was better :)
People like shiny things
