I love how much of a nod to Samus Aran she is. Her standard colors call back to the best ending in the original Metroid, and her color 4 palette is Samus's Super Metroid colors. Shame that Smash Bros. wasn't smart enough to make her a Zero Suit Samus Echo Fighter.
@@JackiW That same reasoning can _technically_ applied to Fire Emblem characters, as well-yet, we started with two of them in Melee-especially while Fire Emblem was still a Japanese exclusive at the time. At the very least, we should've gotten at least one other F-Zero character (i.e. Samurai Goroh and/or Black Shadow) alongside Captain Falcon by now.
@@neo_falcon tbf the only reason captain falcon ever got to Smash was because he had the same body type than the Template Fighter when the game was known as dragon king, (basically the same reason Ganondorf ever got into melee) considering fellow nintendo racing game character Ryota Hayami didnt had the same luck, as both F-Zero and Wave Race are very niche racing games.
@@ayar2 Sure, but what I'm discussing is _after_ the fact Captain Falcon was chosen as an SSB character, from the beginning. Between then and now, there was more than enough development/potential for another F-Zero character. Despite both being niche, I would argue Wave Race-as a franchise-was neither nearly as well-known, or as developed as F-Zero to begin with, since F-Zero started as a Mode 7 launch title for the SNES AND included a story comic in the owner's manual before Wave Race even existed. Not only that, Captain Falcon was also originally considered to be the mascot of the SNES despite this not being such a well-known fact, initially.
Well, looking at the character animations, and the designs of the AX characters, that's just how Sega rolls. This is the most Sega-feeling game Nintendo was ever involved with, insulting since only Nintendo's name appears on the box art.
@@LuwiigiMasterWhile it was developed by AV, at the end of the day, GX was still based on a first-party Nintendo IP involving Nintendo producers, so I can see why you wouldn’t immediately see Sega/AV until you start the game.

Too minor of a character, to be brutally honest with ya.
As much as I love the series myself.

If they ever remaster this game, they should really take the opportunity to redo (almost) all the voice acting.
