How I make and customise my Dog Bandanas for my small business

I'm back with a highly requested video this week: how I make and customise my dog bandanas.
In this video I take you through the whole process from choosing the fabric I am going to make the bandana with, to sewing the bandana together and finally personalising the bandana.

I missed you doing any finishing on the edges where the collar goes through. Do you fold it under and stitch a small hem before you sew the triangle??

I have 3 big dog 1 pure lab 1 lab gray hound mix and 1 lab Benji mix and they are bigger and it’s harder to fine sizes that fit them if you have any ideas I would love to hear them and great vid
Do you mean ideas in terms of sizing your own bandanas or for buying bandanas for them?
Where do you get your fabrics?, they look so pretty and high quality
They are lovely to work with, I bought them at my local haberdashery - I find they have nicer quality fabrics than the larger stores

Hi Katie! it's called a rotary cutter - I use a 45mm one
You can get some great ones on Amazon or at your local haberdashery
Hi! I’m thinking of starting my own dog bandana business and have been struggling on how big to make the size templates so do you have any recommendations on where/how to size it? Thank you!!! (If not that’s ok!)
What I did was look at a range of other companies sizing and tried them all out and then came up with sizing that I think works best! Usually companies have their size charts available on their websites or Instagram (mines on Instagram) you can have a look at that and then try making different sizes and see which you prefer. Hi there, Which Cricut do you have? I am going to get one but not sure the best one to get.
I use the Cricut Maker, it all depends on what you will be using it for, if it’s for home crafts then one of the smaller Cricuts would work well, because I’m using mine for business I got the more industrial one

Size medium what is a medium
Medium fits a medium sized dog, so something like a cockapoo or border collie - hope that helps 😀
Gosh you waste a lot of fabric!! I cut square and fold diagonally I get between 2 and 4 depending on the fabric size.
No need to talk so much. Prefer to see how you are making the bandana.
