You’re such an inspiration for me. I’m watching this a year later Nov 2020 and I can imagine your money increase has increased even more but you can tell money hasn’t changed yall. Usually companies change when they get famous but You both still show a sweet, cheerful and kind personality. Love you guys.

Love you videos. I sell dog related products but currently only sell at local shows. I found that's what I like best. I like the interaction with other dog lovers. Since covid 19 I'm thinking about going on-line. I've been watching your videos for inspiration.

Thank you your video was very helpful.
Question where do you get your logo or name tags on your product, how do you make one.
I sew dog coats and dog bandanas but haven't received any interest in them. I have even lowered my prices.

Something that I have learned is that you honestly can't please everyone, which is hard for me! Another thing is if you keep working hard enough and really put yourself out there, it'll all come together.

How do you price your dog bandanas that are not personalised, their over the collar bandanas to start your business?
And is purchasing a cricket machine worth buying to make personalised bandanas?
    Thank you from Australia

Congratulations on your success. Jus started watching some of your videos. I’m thinking of starting a business to take into my yet achieved retirement. I don’t know if you are still using your wood templates and I don’t know what the cost would be, but you may want to call “Accuquilt” and ask them what the cost would be to make your templates for the bandanas thru a die cutter--their website is accuquilt.com. This way if you wanted to cut out more at one time your investment would be your personal dies and the “studio 2” cutter. I’m a quilter/machine embroider” individual. Just thought I would share. Again, I think and thank you for sharing such honest guidance. My hat is off to you. Continued success to you both. Thankyou.

Do you wash your fabric before you sew them?

    • @DaniBrouse
      @DaniBrouse  4 роки тому

We do not. If you have time to do that, it would allow the customer an easier way to wash their bandanas... but we have SO much fabric that we just don't have time to do that. We tell our customers to handwash their bandanas.

Something I learned from watching this video was!: how you make your profit but then putting the money back into the company rather then just saving it, the snowball effect you mentioned!! Love it!
I love watching y’all a journey through everything, and I’m excited to see where your company takes you! Best wishes always

Hey guys! I found just this channel about a week ago and have binged watched so many of your videos and learned so much! I work as a corporate chef and dietitian but I also make homemade dog treats called Shaggy Snacks. It started the same as you, just making treats for my pup and things grew from there. Now we have 4 dogs so we are always making treats! I think the most interesting thing I learned is how much marketing and advertising does help influence purchases. Looking forward to a great year! Thank you for your insight! I hope y’all have a wonderful year and reach all your goals!

Etsy doesn’t ONLY take out money when we sell
They take a monthly fee per item, then when item sold they take some more.
    😂
    Great tips here!
