Don't beat yourself up, kiking and beer are a natural combo! Rest up, you're doing great. I felt NJ and NY were both really cool states to hike through. Enjoy!
Literally, you left your hair down and enjoyed yourself with some friends overindulged as we all do a different times you did push on and at some point you just realize you know I’m just gonna take care of myself and I’m gonna do it this way. You exemplify the statement hike, your own hike. And I think it’s great to wait up for your tramily. I want to thank you for stopping and taking pictures of just those little Crawley creatures that we probably never noticed in our daily life, but you take the time to talk with them and point about.❤😊

You are allowed to have the occasional "exceptional evening". If the trip turns into a death march (focus, meet your objectives, no fun or breaks allowed), at some point you'll wonder why you are doing it at all.

The problem isn't you, Sass! The problem is that you stopped drinking! No hangover if you keep it up! Trust me, I have a shirt from my last thru hike that says, " Don't take camping advice from me, you'll end up drunk!"
