What's up legends! Are you concerned at all about the Cornerback room at the moment with no clear CB2 considering injuries and lack of consistency? Or nah, it'll be fine? Either way, I already miss L'Jarius Sneed 😔
I posted this before I saw the bit about Clyde, and I don't want to be inappropriate. I've always been a CEH fan - you can ask anyone that knows me, I have massive respect and admiration for that guy and have always praised him being on the team. I hope he knows we all appreciate and wish him the very best.. It's always hard to see someone struggle with mental health. Stay strong 25
Frfr. Like 3 days after he made his first original video he showed up in my feed. And following him is the best thing for chiefs news I've done. Well done Cole
As someone who has dealt with PTSD, I'm sending Clyde love and hoping he finds serenity. Watched a random show awhile back that triggered mine for the first time in years and literally had a week of elevated anxiety and some uncharacteristic temper flare ups that made me feel even worse. It can be incredibly tough to get out of the cycle or to quiet your mind, but I hope he and anyone suffering finds peace and remembers to be easy on themselves while they deal with it.
Such a nice vibe to wish everyone with the diagnosis that experience symptoms and periods of many triggers and flashbacks more serenity and feeling better. I hope the same back as one with CPTSD myself, for this player and everyone trying to live with it as a constant follower, that makes itself more or less known in periods of time. We all know it can literally knock you off so much it is hard to function in daily life, so you want to avoid everything and just isolate to avoid triggers. Although that is not a long term solution. But before you know what is happening to and with you, it is hard to do deal with it better. I wish no one having it, but I wish for everyone living with it, as little and mild sympstoms as possible with time.
As someone with PTSD it really can come down in waves. some days are easy then out of no where a switch can flip and you’re back where you were. Prayers for CEH
Although I have never been diagnosed with PTSD, I appreciate the fact that nowadays someone can be honest about their struggles and actually get help instead of being mocked and shunned. I had some childhood trauma and suffered from depression really bad. Back then it was not even recognized let alone treated. It was all: Buck up! or, You're weak! Nobody made an effort to understand. I am glad that, that is now changing. Mental health is a big deal and it should be treated as such.
It's about understanding your triggers, being prepared to experience events, having people around you to help. PTSD does not go away, but you can get better at handling it. I hope CEH is able to get into the best possible position to handle this.
No disrespect to your comment. It takes a lot more than prayer to heal PTSD. It takes evidence based solutions. I'm sure he's pursuing those. I know your comment is with the best of intentions.
Prayers for CEH. By all accounts he’s a really good man who’s given all he’s got to his career and his life after football as a healthcare professional.
Lol nobody in the CB room is taking a step back... They're all just getting exposed, being another wrung higher on the depth chart. I said this all last year and all off-season when we weren't sure if Sneed was coming back-- our depth appeared so damn good BECAUSE everyone was playing at the appropriate wrung along the ladder, with an all pro type player at the top, McDuffie in the slot, and the others behind them. Now with Sneed gone, all those guys take one step up along the ladder, and likewise, are going up against tougher competition. When you're the 3rd or 4th corner, you're usually on the 3rd or 4th WR for the other team.... So when you're now the CB2, you play the other teams WR2. But, if you're ACTUALLY, truly supposed to be a cb3 or 4, you're outmatched. With Sneed gone now, this is the reality. Everybody thought the young guys were really good and showing all this promise -- and they were, BECAUSE they were at the appropriate place on the depth chart, facing off against the appropriate level of competition. I knew they were gonna get exposed a bit without LJ at the top of the depth chart 🤷 let's hope they can take their lumps now and figure it out once the real games start
@@FourTreDubbCity I really wish they coulda made it work. Sneed was my guy. And he was PERFECT in Spags' scheme... Now idk wtf to do with my red #38 jersey 😭🤷
@@hbtCHIEFS I appreciate the validation 🥰 hahahaha. Id give anything to be covering football for a living, specifically the Chiefs. So you're literally living my dream job 🤣
I would say that Spags saying what he did was to put pressure/challenge the CB room to see how they react to the challenge. Not really worried about the CB room until seeing how they play in the preseason.
Clyde killed a man who tried to rob him and a friend while he was at LSU. The man was armed and it was ruled self defense. The story can be found through google.. It is possible that might be something that is having an effect on him.. Surprised this was not brought up as a possibility in the video!
After we let sneed go I did think we should’ve gotten an older veteran CB On a friendly deal just to help set the tone with mcduffie. But I’m sure if it continues veach will make at least some kind of move at CB.
Diagnosed and medicated person with depression here. Always glad when people with mental issues are brave enough to come forward. It sucks with a hidden disease especially when by all accounts you should be happy but you aren’t and it’s hard to explain why.
I hear you. I hope you are at as good a place as possible with your medication. I know it can be tough with side effects and periods of wondering if they help ”enough”. And I agree, it is always valuable when ppl that have a platform talk about things that can not be seen on the surface.
FWIW Cole, I don't think Spags is necessarily *concerned* about who CB2 will be opposite McDuffie. It actually sounds like those other guys, especially Joshua Williams, have been playing pretty well; they'll get burned once in a while but they're playing the best QB in the league lol, it's gonna happen. I think Spags is just thinking about who will play more snaps in terms of depth and what's the best way to adjust his play designs with what he has and in the absence of Sneed. And honestly? That makes me happy, since Spags is known for being tough to prepare against. I'm not concerned about what he said about the CB battle today. He and Merritt will figure it out! HBTC baby!
Understanding value is hard for NFL players and people to understand. WR Toney is one that's career as an NFL player will be shorten at some point. He has amazing talent good enough to be a WR 1 but to many holes especially the drops that make him a WR 3. When he misses so many volunteer workouts makes him a cut candidate or a WR 5. Then his attitude with NY Giants fans pushes the needle more. He is a great talent now but years will pass and teams will take a chance on him because of his talent in hopes he changes his ways. Being able to Understanding your value can help you live out your goals and set you up for the future. It's better to be smart and look at yourself honestly instead of blaming everyone else for your lack of awareness.
Yea definitely can feel the level of concern there. If anyone can coach them up though it’s spags but seeing the offense cook the defense all camp is not ideal.
Cole, I rarely disagree with your takes, but on trying odd moves in training camp? That’s what ‘’practice’’ sessions are for, and the next trick plays won’t all be 15 winging it.
6:55 Cole I totally agree 💯 it worried me a bit as well when i heard it Our DL cant rush the QB if our CB cant handle their man and blanket them long enough for our DL
All of the players who didn’t get in legal trouble over the offseason are now getting injured so we won’t have anybody for the extremely important preseason 😭😭😭

There's a video of a Pacheco going around where he says the pads are lighter than they were last year but he's just faster😅😅
We gonna run through the league like a hot knife through butter this year. MARK MY WORDS !!!
