You are wrong in saying that scooters aren't made for long rides on highways. Commuter bikes are also not that comfortable on highways. In fact, Access 125 delivers much more comfort and power than most 125cc bikes. I ride my Access 125 BS4 on long rides (500 km a day). I have installed a touring seat and crash guard: only two accessories.. Scooter is actually much more practical for long rides. Just one rynox tail bag and dry bag: i am set. No need of bungee cords. I can keep dry bag on floor board which is absent on bikes. I have done most rides which people do on bigger bikes, and that too at half the cost. And with much more reliability and much less maintenance cost.
I clocked 10k kms in 8 months 4 service completed in access 2023 model. I own Activa 5g and access bs6 and fzs v2. I can assure you access is the top notch scooter never faced single issues excellent in all aspects it's all about how you maintain bike. I am thinking to sell fzsv2 50k km clocked wanted to buy one more access. Might be your scooter having issues not all others.

Everything is good but the service is worst than ever I have purchased suzuki avenis 125 after 2 years my warranty expired then I wanted to get my vehicle service outside but spare like airfilter is not available and service center is denying to provide they ask us to get the service done by them then they will service it and the one service cost is rs 798 with labour for engine oil airfilter change

I took test drive for access 125 for special edition I felt braking was an issue with access it was not prompt braking system or robust. I am still deciding to buy or not, please confirm braking
Brakes are good considering its a daily driver but as you said it lacks the punch and power, regardless you dont need much braking power in 125cc segment. You can go ahead with the purchase
