We just bought one for a $1000 but it needs work. It does work though, got 4.3, good trans, 4 wheel drive works. Body is a a little rough, bed is good.

Best of luck. I can't say the S10/Blazers are my dream vehicle but I do like them a lot. My first one was a 96 Jimmy that I put 12k miles on. It had an electrical problem and won't run because of it. Then I got an 01 Jimmy with a 37k on the rebuilt engine. Use it to tow our popup camper.
