The Edirol V8 is the next level above the V4 it is a classic video mixer designed for VJs. Is it just a V4 with more inputs? will having all those BNCs make you feel like a pro?

Thoughts on the V-4EX? Looking to do everything the V4 does, but include an HDMI input source and have the mixer as end of the line before projector. Seems great, just wondering if the feedback is as magical as the original V4
v4ex is very cool. Im a big fan of being able to mix HDMI and composite video feedback at the same time. the only thing I don't like about it is the price.

Hoping to upgrade from the v4 soon - still feel like I haven’t gotten the most out of that great unit you made - is there any instructional vids up regarding the setup/use ? I do muck around but can never remember how I got it right in regard to the extra feedback - thankyou
the manual is probably the best place to start with the v8.
@@catfullofghosts4478 was meaning the CFOGE video xching - haven't been able to really unlock the goodness even with having watched your tutorial - mainly don't know what cords to put where

Just got a V-8 and before it gets here I wanted to get a taste of what's to come :) Cool video! One question - you played a lot with feedback loop in this video but from what I see your "Feedback" control button was off - did you place the feedback effect onto other button and I havent noticed that or did you use a "real" feedback loop by connecting one of the outputs as an input with a cable? :)
i was using a real feedback loop, with a cable from the output back to one of the inputs 😄

are there any modern versions of that ipad app or something similar to use?
the problem you are going to get is getting composite video out, there are lots of modern VJ apps on newer ipads/tablets , but you will need to get something to convert the HDMI (or whatever) that comes out of the newer ipad to composite video to go into the mixer.
@@catfullofghosts4478does this app still work? i’m more concerned for finding an app to use. i think it’d be easy to display out on a modern ipad. you could do something like usb c to hdmi then hdmi to composite
