Josh Roberts is a hell of a shot. He is from Lexington, SC and have shot many tournaments with/against him back 10-15 years ago back before he started going to these bigger better professional tournaments. I can’t remember the tournament, but look up josh Roberts vs svb 8 ball match. It was almost a perfect match. Alternating breaks, every rack was break and run except for one rack josh got an unlucky kick off the break and scratched.

I like how Jayson Shaw, even after the miscue that cost him the 4th rack, got up out of his chair to help retrieve the balls for the ref, while Josh Roberts just went and sat down. I love seeing good pool etiquette from the pros.

i still have no idea why john morra swapped arms. because pool/snooker require you to bend down, some of the best pool/snooker players are cross eye/hand dominant. like here shaw is right eye but left handed. o sullivan is left eye right arm. so many good players are cross dominant.

It just shows how bad the Americans will lose the Mosconi Cup this year. The best American player (SVB) would not qualify for the European roster. I'm sure Josh Roberts is good playing against Americans because their is no competition. The commentary is talking about Josh being considered for the Mosconi Cup.... I know APA 7's that should be in consideration for the Mosconi Cup.

The commentator is just talking bollocks, I guess because he thinks he has to talk up Roberts and the viewers have never watched pool before or heard of anything other than the Mosconi Cup. Roberts is currently number 140 in the rankings. Not saying he is a bad player, he just got steamrollered here. But in no way is he in contention for the Mosconi.

The break is the most important shot in nine ball at 10 ball I am tired of all these whiners . somebody hit you with 8 racks you hit them with 10 ! needs to be a race to 11 or longer . This is the freaking U.S. Open . you people want everyone to win a trophy!Win a game break ! people are real soft nowadays. If somebody hits you with 8 it’s some real heat a champion will run out the set when he gets a shot! That’s the best pool period. don’t like it go home to your mommy‘s basement!

At this top level of play, it is inexcusable to have a table where the corner ball goes so regularly. Doesn't matter how far up you rack the diamond, players know how to cut break to make that wing ball go. I'm sorry, the game needs to change to a triangle (10 ball).

Bull shit winner break is the best ! Long set tight pockets. Separates the men from the boys! . Develop a break it’s the most important shot in 9 and 10 ball! Rotate the break is like everybody wins a trophy! it’s unfair someone develops a break and doesn’t get to use it when the other person breaks when they win a game. This way the best player wins period! Someone hits you with 8 you run 10! When I was young my high break and run was 14 with a regular rack no Magic rack. Get better or go home to mommy!
