Another cool thing about Primal is that, since there's no talking, it seamlessly crosses language barriers
"Oh frick that's _huge!"_ is pretty universal.
Oh yeahh! I can watch the spanish pirated upload :D
Its the ultimate expression of less being more.
Like Mr Bean
the “holy fuck what is that.” is universal
Actually I think a symbiosis like this does make sense.
The spider is massive, clearly too large to catch prey or atleast sneak up. There for the bats bring it food, to which the spider offers the young bats protection while they hunt.
It is an interesting symbiotic relationship
Similar to how some tarantulas keep pet frogs to stop insects from eating their eggs
but what on earth do the bats need protection from all the way up there?
That’s a terrible idea the spider didn’t offer any type of protection also it’s a swarm of atleast hundreds of giant bats what would they need protection from
@@Unyieldingwill i think its more of the spider shooting webs over the carcasses to preserve it so they don't rot, kinda like a fridge system
@@Unyieldingwill Just because they adults are strong doesn't mean their babies are
Fun fact: According to art director Scott Wills, nature documentaries were a significant source of inspiration for Primal.
You mean spiders shooting webs out of their mouth, and shooting them in the form of an actual web rather than strings? Or the fact that humans and T-Rexes existed in the same Era with a spider that's bigger than a T-Rex..
Yeah, so much science.
@@ukpkmkk_2 listen buddy I don’t give two fucks about reality all I care about is that I can escape it through the means of television
This look like ARK:survival but aninated
Wait, really?
@@ukpkmkk_2 fun fact: Primal is set in a fantasy world.
Can we take a moment to consider just how much of this video Fang spent getting beaten against the cave walls like a dusty rag? That dinosaur pulled a freaking Vegeta taking that kind of abuse for so long!
Everyone can take a lot of hits unless its stabs or so
Then she gets nearly killed by that mutant ape.

As long as you don’t hit his pride he’ll keep going
Bruhh you acting as if he's durability is the same as a feminist woman
Not that he ever has very many options besides, but I love how Spear’s go-to whenever he doesn’t have his spear is just R O C K
Hey Kids! You ever play Rust!?

I expected him to pick up the bigger rock next to him after he was thrown aside

More or less just a reglar day in Australia
False, it's not upside-down.
Lol holy shitze
Man I fight these things on my way to school
Exactly what the spider would say
Regular?
I loved this episode. Fang trying to get Spear back was so cool. She realized she couldn't climb so showed that she isn't a stupid beast by playing dead. Thank god, spiders never got that big in the real world. The largest spider lived during the carboniferous period which had the highest atmospheric concentration of oxygen in Earth's history and since there were no fungus to break down these new fangled things called trees, wild fires happened every other sunday.
how big was that largest spider?
@@Metamine0 big
its a cartoon
Yeah, arthropods could NEVER get that huge in real life. Not only would their method of breathing (insects and other arthropods don't have lungs and instead rely on breathing tubes to naturally diffuse oxygen into their blood, but the bigger a creature is, the cells and organs deepest inside the body would basically get no oxygen at all) be totally inadequate to fuel something that large, but their body plan also wouldn't be able to support their weight. Having spindly limbs that aren't directly beneath your center of gravity means it would not be able to support its own weight and would have to drag itself around (if the legs could even manage that).
@@Metamine0 The size of a house cat.
There is something intriguing about the look in Fang's eyes when she sees the dead corpse in the web. Are Archosaurs (Birds and crocodiles) today capable of recognising fear?
If you mean feeling fear from other than their normal stimulus (sudden loud noises, big presences) , yes I'd assume they do. Birds and crocodilians alike will feel fear when strange unknown things or things that they have associated with scary bad experiences will arise fear in them. I don't think seeing human corpses should cause it though unless they have associated human death with misfortunate experiences of their own.
I believe most if not all animal lifeforms are capable of recognising fear, I personally see no reason to believe the opposite. Some creatures are just more reckless and daring then others, though, and even that depends on the individual.
In this case then, with the other two people's replies. It *would* cause fear in Fang, since she is attached to that hairless ape.
I guess fang felt fear for what could be of spear, dont forget she grieved for her babies once too
Fear and pain is evolution's way of telling you to run. Otherwise animals would stand around and get eaten
2:15 “Crap! That usually works!!!”
Not with this spider 🕷️😜
Advantage to not having bones.
@@jasoncummings7 And multiple legs.
Man I love this show. Such a great homage to the old pulp magazines. Never pulling back from brutality and violence. And still managing to tell a story with no dialogue.
I still dont understand the symbiotic relationship between the bats and the spider
I assume the bats feed the spider and in return the spider doesnt eat them and provides protection while they sleep.
I think part of the preys are for the winter, when they ran out of food the spider let them eat part of the stored food.
@@hicehamer1337 yeah, I agree, spider helps store the food incase of food shortage
I thought it might have been some kind of twisted worship. Like the bats actually worship the spider like a god and bring it tributes. I figured that's why they wanted to kill Fang and Spear when they find their god killed.
bats likely bring food for the spider who is clearly too big to hunt effectively, maybe even too big to leave the cave anymore? In return the bats get shelter, protection from intruders, and a food storage!
And to explain the bats' rage after the spider was killed, I think theyre smart enough to realize that they're now without protection, sure the cave is all theirs but if some other creature happens to want it, it could easily lead to the bats losing their home. Also, now there's no web maker to keep their food pantry organized, oh no :( fridge broke
A spider big and mean enough to take on dinosaurs and cave dwellers. I'm impressed!
They're basically fighting the Broodmother boss from ARK
Yea
On alpha difficulty
This is what I was thinking
there's even a mummified t-rex in there, if i remember correctly
Basically, but she doesn't send its babies to attack
Oh God, Dear Gendy Trtakovskiy, I wish you all best in your work. I grew up on your cartoons and enjoy watching them still as an adult
Im still a teenager been watching his stuff since the 2000s about to be 16 next month good tidings
After losing to a hobbit of all things In Return of the King , Shelob decided to hit the Gym and bulk up , satisfied she decided to move to the tropics for a change of scenery, alas this would be a bad idea thanks to spear and fang .....
this cartoon is brutal. plot twist, that was a baby megaspider

TO CLOSE OUT A TRILOGY OF MONSTERS UNDER THE BLOOD MOON, I GIVE YOU A SPIDER SO BIG, SO TERRIFYING, AND SO MENACING ENOUGH TO DEVOUR SMALLER PREDATORS LIKE FANG.
I love how wobbly the spider's eyes are in that close-up
The fear in Fang's eyes at 0:25 is priceless
This is the only show on television worth watching
Love this content... nothing better than an adult swim animation 🤩🤙🏻
Thankfully the largest spider to ever exist was far smaller than this, it was however about the size of a Human Head.
Remember, pound for pound, Spider Silk is stronger than Steel.
I like the fact that the spider is so stupid it tries to smash fang into the Rocks a second time even though it didn't work the first time
Who needs intelligence when your as durable as steel, strong as crap, and shoot webs?
I wouldnt say stupid i'd say the spider realized the strength durability and endurance of fang could pose a fatal consequence on a full on bite after realizing she could tear its flesh and injure it and break through her web so she instead relied on weakening it to the point of exhaustion and then focusing on immobilisation and kiling.
Huge hostile arachnid
Watching this show is like playing Turok and only using the Knife 🗡️.
I thought the same thing😄
Feels weird not to see stop motion for once
0:39 the giant arthropods are back
2:51 this is what Harry & Ron should of done.
3:14 How the little piggies will grunt when they heard how the old boar suffered
One thing I had doubt about in this was, knowing what is actually known about them, spiders, arachnids and insects in general, can't really grow to such massive sizes. Because of the makeup of an insect or arachnids biology, they cannot get bigger in size beyond a certain point or they could struggle to breath, their respirotry system failing.
The bird eating spider is the largest because anything larger would not be able to survive based on this complexity.
Never knew how awesome a wordless cartoon would be. All action and excitement. 💪🏼🧔🏻🦖⚒
Violence is not the answer. It is a question. And the answer is yes
"many people don't know there's a secret boss fight in this game- THE GIANT ENEMY SPIDER!" ~jerma985.
Fang is freaking diesel to endure that level of punishment lol
This is pretty much me fighting alpha broodmother in ark
I'd bring bronto or quetsel and trex or alisor army
0:24 Fang(internally): *God* or whoever, I *hope* Spear doesn’t look like this when I find him.
I love this series! I'm always on the edge of my seat. 😁

That spider is my nightmare’s nightmare
Fang. Mess with my caveman and I'll f**k you up.
Spear. Mess with my dinosaur and I'll f**k you up.
Spear and Fang. Mess with with us and...
I feel like when fang saw those webs she was like “aw hell NO!”
My man didnt hesitate once he saw the rock. What a bro.
Pov: fighting the broodmother in ark
This reminds me of the mechagodzilla fight in Godzilla vs Kong with the reptile getting the life beat out of it and the primate using a weapon to finish the spider off. Same thing
Reminds me of Kumonga from the original Japanese Godzilla trilogy and Shelob from LOTR
Me: Yes, sic the Triceratops on the spider!
Triceratops is dead
Me: The horn should work...
Great Show
Yes. It's much more better than entire AoT.
Shades of Tomb of Annihilation. Love it.
A GIANT SPIDER?! OH HELL NO!!!
Fang is so cool honestly. It doesn’t matter how much bigger her opponent is, she still tries to fucking kill it anyway
0:24
Bruh Moment.
Se nota que la araña no estaba en acostumbrada a cazar... Un solo mordisco y hasta alli llegaba Fang
*Fun Fact:* Nature documentaries are a major inspiration for most of the show. In fact, the entire series actually takes place in modern day Australia.
Makes sense.
Reminds me of Kumonga with the whole spitting out webs from the mouth thing. Probably a coincidence tho, as there is a real spider that does this (although the real spider's webs are laced with venom)
At any point in time that spider could just bit down on the dinosaur and injected its venom
I think it was about to before Spear skewered its head with that Triceratops horn.
@@calvinfujii5921 yeah but it could have way earlier and really fucked them up
I look at it like with its large size a direct bite would be very dangerous as its heads vulnerability so tiring out its prey especially in the case of fange cos shes dangerous prey ensuring she couldnt fight back guarantees the spiders safety.
I think it’s surprising how strong spear is
He’s always strong when Fang is in trouble
Trex and croods vs evil twin

I wonder if spiders make any sort of vocal noise
That is one tough little t rex.
Spear might just have to be renamed Bullet after that supersonic flying triceratops horn.
He came out of nowhere, and FAST!
I find it TERRIFYING how Fang. A TYRANNOSAURUS REX is basically almost PINT SIZED to most of the Beast that have been show in this show.
Edit: 2:49 waaait I thought Spiders weren't able to close their eyes..
Es cuánto menos sorprendente la resistencia de Fang... La agarraron como mata moscas y después de como 25 golpes se paró como si nada xd
I also wonder, how are giant spider sounds are made?
It’s Rex (Toy Story) fighting against Shelob (LOTR)
THE GIANT ENEMY SPIDER
That lizard looks like T Rex
RIP that Trieratops over here
It has no predators up there, or so it thought.
Fang ended up with so many fractures by the end of this episode.
the T rex always gets his head smashed in XD
This was basically the scene from Dragon Ball Super: Broly, the scene where Goku was literally getting swung around like a sack of potatoes from Broly when he was enraged.
Spear sees a dead triecatops and trying to get one of its horns
My biggest fear. Spiders. Oh well.
