Perfect explanation, I just watched it playout on ES and NQ. ES had a MSS with Displacement and NQ just had a FVG with no displacement @9:50

When backtesting it over 9 months it really profitable but while trading it Iive I'm having setbacks.. I am still confused over which asset to believe. If ES and NQ have a divergence, then which asset do I believe? Which asset do I take the trade on?

Whichever is stronger
Whichever is moving according to how it's supposed to move. If the SMT at the key occurrs at a high and the MSS is to sell, trade the weaker asset class. Do the same for the reverse; if the SMT occurs at the key level at a low and the MSS is to buy, trade the stronger asset class.

Which smt divergence to trade, the one which swept liquidity above previous high/low or the one which failed to sweep the liquidity above previous high/low ????
Depends on what kind of trader you are. You can trade the one that swept liquidity if you that is your way of trading or trade the one that failed if you mostly targets FVG.
I trade the one that fails because that is the stronger one that takes the stronger reversal.
@@delaware900 yeah i think so to the one which fails to sweep liquidity has the higher chances to reverse cause it's weak but on the other hand I have seen the trades where after sweeping liquidity market reverses and is much more reliable cause now you have the reason cause price swept liquidity and it has more reason to go down ..
