When I was a kid I would hit my head on the wall as a stim. Then, while I was at school (first grade or something) I was severely overstimulated and crying in the corner of the cafeteria, a looked up and saw a girl flapping her hands. I tried it, and I was able to calm myself down. Even though my mother may never get me tested, that girl, Eva, helped save me from so many injuries. And she didn’t even know. I’m 14 now, and ever time I hand flap, I think of her. Even though she’s never going to say this, I would give anything to thank her.
Never got tested but I believe I'm somewhere on the autistic spectrum. I'm having a stress moment and have been clenching my hands together for about 10 minutes now. I found this video and some how after copying Donnie and Raph I feel a bit better. Thank you so much for this!🥰😊
...so this hit too close for home I get frustraded easily and raise my voice and i would hit myself pull on my hair and use my nails and dig into my skin... And my older sibling would call me a todler for these behavors.... Im so happy in this comic donnie gets a good brother who understands him and tries to help
I am on the autism spectrum, and I do stim a lot. But what makes it worse is that I also have Tourettes(Motor) so that makes some of my stims more violent than others. I do the hand Stim a lot though.
I'll be honest, I cannot say any bad words because I'm in the house as my parents doesn't like to hear any bad words TwT" (I only use fudge instead)
