All of the other CCs I have been watching over the past 300 days since starting Raid have failed to explain what all is needed to complete a fusion. THANK YOU for this video!
Just one tiny point that was missed by @Colred. As you progress through a frag/fusion and collect enough rare/frags to fuse the epics. Hold onto them until the champion chase and pull/fuse them then. You normally have 3 by then which = 750 points 3x 250 epics. Paylarium have raised the point threshold in the past few fusions to account for this extra 750 points which is an additional 3 sacred shards or equivalent. So keep hold of those rares/frags until then and use the champ training that comes after this to rank them up. One last thing. As you get the rare champs for a traditional fusion, go into the tavern and lock them, so you do not accidently food them. I did that in my very first fusion, but I was also lucky to pull a dupe, but it was a scary lesson learned. P.S. Traditional fusions take up to 160 small, 80 greater potions of the affinity (spirit, magic, force) and 80 small potions + 48 medium arcane for the rare ascension process. Then you need a further 80 medium and 24 superior affinity potions (spirit, magic, force). 60 medium and 12 superior arcane potions to ascend all the epics. Total = for affinity potions, spirit, magic, force (if one affinity used) is 160 lesser + 160 medium potions 24 superior. Arcane potions you need 80 lesser + 108 greater + 12 superior (this is always the amount for arcane). The total for affinity is complete, but sometimes Paylarium split these into different affinities so just simply divide these totals by the factor of how many affinity rares/epics to get the split total eg. one rare of each affinity = divide affinity potion total by 4 or, = to 25% of total. Many fall down on this because they either did not have enough to cover this before the event and did not account for the extra energy expenditure, or left it too late and missed the potion keeps altogether. If it is void epic for instance it could easily be missed during a fusion. Always have this amount in reserve for a fusion, or account for the extra energy during one to farm potion keeps. Good luck with your fusion, if you decide to go for it.
Good breakdown. Great overview with great tips to get ready. I've played for a few years now and have only missed 2 fusions (Lonatharil and Loriaca). One thing I found extremely helpful in preparation for the artifact enhancement events is in the downtime between fusions, I will level my gear up to 15. This way I get the benefit of the gear on my champs being almost fully levelled and when the event starts, I level 8 to 10 pieces of gear from 15 to 16 and the event is almost complete within minutes. I guess I should disclose I am super bad at saving silver so this strategy ensures I can get it done.
If it's a decent High elf, barbarian or dwarf is a skip I can afford. I'm free to play and right now I have the resources to go for the next 2 fusions with ease. But... My focus right now is Lydia. I have some factions that lack champions. If the fusion champ is not useful for any faction I haven't beat yet, or it's not broken like gnut or emic, I'll skip it. Tormin, Visix, Zavia, Elenaril are great champs that collect dust in my vauld because of 2 reasons: books and masteries. With the monthly fusions and all the resource sinking in leveling up champs and pulling champs it's hard to keep up with books and masteries. I have only 35 champs at lv 60 and only 14 of them with full masteries. 28 total legos and only 8 fully booked. I don't see any reason to level up legos that can't perform at their max potential. A Harima without masteries and books does legit 50% less damage. My logic: It's cool to have multiple options for one role but if not a single option excels at that specific role, what's the point?
@pycassoclaudiu Good roster management is key. That trumps a new fusion any day (unless it's a god-tier champion like Gnut). Good luck with the account progression!
Regarding energy generation: 1 point of energy is refilled in 3 minutes that equals to 480 energy refill/ day In addition, you have 3 refills from quests/ daily login +1 refill/ 2 days (in the mini pack)= per day, is about 935 energy (there is extra 50-100 in advanced quests, but considering you need to put some energy in campaign battle each day, i will not consider this in my calculation) Extra energy sources: 1. weekly refills (2 refills) 2. bazaar 300 energy/week 3. Possible 10 stacks of 100 energy in clan shop/week (very random, don't plan the success of the fusion on it!) 4. Doom tower, you get some extra (around 100 energy/day) 5. Some events will have milestones with energy (at least 1k per fusion in total)

I would not count DT in as a possible daily resource simply because, 1. every account is individual and many cannot do DT yet, or advance very high 2. Depending on the cycle, this may have already been completed, and 3 there is not energy on every level and it increases slightly as you get higher starting at 25 going to I think 150 (but don't quote me on that) so I suggest just factoring this in if it falls well during a frag/fusion only. Point 5 is variable, so I would simply factor known quantities in and plan around those, adding the energy from the events simply as a top up if RNG went badly with an event like dungeon drivers, FK etc, where you may have spent more energy than usual. Otherwise nice list that covered possible resources. I guess we will start having to factor Santranos in as a possible source too now. Maybe leaving energy stages undone until frag/fusions.
@@Dharin. i was relating my experience and places where i get my free energy. some of these are not available for all/ all times (for example, advanced quests, Doom Tower, clan shop, Sintranos) for me Sintranos was 90% innaccesible, couldnt get past Bommal or Scarab King with my curent setup/roster Thank you for pointing it out

what's the strategy to complete artifact enhancement most silver efficient way? I'm a new player and I ALWAYS struggle with this part, I don't want to start a fusion because I feel like I will burn all my silver and fail
@facelessmmx There are several methods that people use. One way is to level up all the trash you pull in from campaign to lvl 4 or lvl 8 and then sell it right away. Another is to park your items at lvl 15 until an AE event, and then get the most points from going to 16. I'm not sure there's one best way. I personally try to level from 1-16 as much as possible. There are tons of videos out there from other CCs. Do a quick YT search and you should find some options. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
25k silver, 5k gems, 600 mistery, 59 ancient, 7 void, 2 primal, 6 sacred... lets hope... it would be my first fusion... i am considering to go all in but so scared to mess up :)
@supergualdo It sounds like you are in a good place with the resources. Now there are two big questions: Do you think this fusion worth going for? And if you do, will you have enough play time for 2 weeks to get everything done? Remember, fusions are fairly time-intensive and you need to track and complete all the events and tournaments. But if that sounds manageable, then give it a try. Even if you mess up, the experience will teach you a lot and help you in the future. You'll never know until you try! I wish you luck, whatever you decide. 🤞
@@ColredPlaysRSL i fly back in Hong Kong in the week end... for 20 hours i cannot play... moreover i just saw the champion and not so excited... and i am sure i cannot get easily other 5-7 sacred for next month if i use these... maybe i will skip and try to level up and be more consistent in area i am lacking... i am 61 lvl but far behind than you NVP account :( cannot hit 18 in all dungeons and not hitting nightmare CB and normal Hydra :( 103 days in the game
@protest6728 Heh. Well, money makes it easier, sure. But you can still fail if you don't plan properly. And if you plan really well, you don't have to spend any money at all. I've succeeded at my last 8 fusions, and only failed 1 of my last 12, all totally F2P. So yeah, a good plan can really help!
As someone who just logs in ti play the game a bit and run some dungeons/ arena fusions SUCK. they make me have ti basically just horde horde horde horde everything until they pop up and only really play the game during them. Sucks all the fun out of the game then i have to compete with some of these op fusions later like Armanz
@thedoomslayer5863 Yeah, gatcha games (and mobile games in general) are kind of hard to play casually. You should certainly game the way that makes sense to you, but game publishers want active player bases for these kinds of games. When I'm looking for a more casual game, I tend to play single-player buy-to-play games for my PC. No ads, no pressure pop-ups for micro-transactions. Just good, old fashioned, gaming fun.

Spent more than I'd dare admit to (found out I had a gamblers brain when loot boxes infected most online games) and don't even have some of the craziest champs some people have. My two crowning jewels of the account are Krisk and Acrizia but after I got them my luck just vanished. I can barely save resources for fusions and when I do it's because I just logged in, did CB, did my DT and arena for energy then horde energy and wait for fusion It's only when the new fusion kinda sucks or is meh can I finally breathe and play the game casually doing whatever I want. And don't get me started on those events like double mythicals. I spent lets just say quite the pretty penny on that event and dozens of primal shards and got NOTHING. Meanwhile others got some of the op mythicals like Lazarus from their free shards..... Makes me genuinely ask myself why I keep playing besides sunk cost fallacy

@alfieauty5549 Yeah, it's always a grind. For a long time, I focused on trying the best 4 or 5 fusions each year. That seemed to work. Now I'm far enough along I can do every one if I want to.

I do believe the dungeon other is so its reverse too the last 10 or 20 arbiter mission so it make the game longer
Also, I never knew that the energy went in your mailbox if you didn't claim it. I've always grabbed it in fear of losing it.
Was doing this for months to before I realized…I always let the multi battles go to inbox now! Pays huge dividends during a dungeon divers

I somehow managed to get the Snowman and get his awakening to 4... but I doubt I will have strenght for next fusion as I doubt it will be Gnut level

Fusions are monthly, free logins are different.
There IS going to be a free 7 day log in champion this month and they're having a fusion event as well.

I'm kinda disappointed that it's going to be a fusion cuz I'm honestly low on resources since I got a few new legendary I needed to build
