    bottle gourd stir fry
    Many avoid this vegetable because it is tasteless
    But this vegetable is yummy when you prepare
    in this method
    This is my favorite poriyal (stir fry)
    Peel the bottle gourd and chop into small chunks
    Small size seeds can be used.If you find big seeds,
    then you can discard the big ones
    This is my mom's recipe
    Bottle gourd has enormous health benefits
    Has vitamins and high water content
    Removes bad cholesterol.Good for heart, hair
    And skin too
    5tbs roasted groundnut
    press it and remove the skin by blowing
    in mixie,add peeled ground nut,4 redchillies,
    6-7 garlic pods
    grind coarsely
    3tbs oil
    1/2tsp mustard,urad dal
    1tsp channa dal
    10 small onion
    Curry leaf some
    1/2tsp turmeric
    pinch of pepper powder
    1 medium sized chopped bottle gourd
    dont add water to cook this vegetable
    close and cook in steam in sim flame
    stir occasionally
    add salt at last since the vegetable shrinks
    while cooking
    cooked to 3/4th
    add ground groundnut,garlic,redchilly powder
    cook for 5mins
    salt as needed
    cook till it is soft and raw smell goes off
