How many airline baggage experiences can these handle before the internal gear is damaged? What do they cost currently (not emailing)? What type of wood is used? If plywood, what kind and how many plies? What do they weigh?

The slam racks are made with 9mm thick plywood, birch. Cost is listed on our website www.C3cases.com no email is required. There are no internal gears only rack rails and rubber shock mounts. We sell these to production companies who specialize in corporate events and music tours, so they take quite the beating. Most our customers truck gear so not sure about airline handling.

Hi. Half rack meaning 9" wide? We only have standard rack width 19"
