I'm done with the M4 too. Next season I might do the ilms gt3 or gte, not sure yet. The short endurance races have caught my attention. Look forward to see what you end up doing Edward, good luck!
I had the exact same problem I went from a 1200 somethin rating to to 600 somethin in just a couple races oh and BTW like your vids and subscribed you dont carry on for an hour you get right to it which is refreshing and different from a lot of youtubers
Totally agree was a tough series but think that’s that 🤣, that censor with the radio beep was hilarious, and that pass round the outside of 6 *chefs kiss. I imagine I’ll see you at some point next season GG

WOW. This was a near total charlie foxtrot. Seeing these videos has made me drop the BMW GT4 from my program; I'm doing SRF plus IMSA GT3 plus endurance races.
The other thing you may like is as the tires get hot the sliding is much more reasoned. It is not that instant no grip situation that was reported before; it can be managed now.
Hey Ed, give the PM-18 a try, it slides and it’s catchable. Lots of comments in the forum “best car in the service” I had lots of fun it in S3 and can’t wait for S4 to start, Road Atlanta 1st up
Love that car. It’s my go to if I have a little extra time to kill. Check out the secret clip at the end of the “Making Lemonade” video. It’s prob my favorite highlight of the season and it happened in the PM-18. Thanks for the suggestion!
keep it up. iRacing can be brutal sometimes and beautiful soon after. Ive just done the radical series( fun but fragile) and going to probably try the F3s. Good luck
new Ferrari GT3 and Audi RS3 series look interesting. I have been trying out ALOT of the different series the last few weeks. I have found the VRS sprint GT3 series to be the most fun and generally its very competitive and realtivy clean.
I was thinking of doing VRS next season. I watched a stream from Dan Suzuki a couple months ago and he said the new tyre model is really good on those cars. I’ve been meaning to give it a go, but haven’t had the time to dedicate to it. The schedule looks really interesting too. Hmmm....
@@McLeanRacing Just had a look at the season 4 schedules... not overly impressed. seems like almost all of the series I wanted to look at running are at the few tracks I don't own still. I hate how iracing seems to use the same dozen or so tracks across majority of the series each season.
This week was horrible, my first races coming out of Rookies, and I wanted to get above D 3.0 to get to C next season, but after getting wreckt in 7/10 races I was still at D 2.60 Need to have a look in which series I'll try to get 4.0 now, but it certainly isn't gonna be BMW 12.0
Ed... I was in an practice session with you this weekend and you were fastest time. I was in 12th, 3.5 seconds back. You seemed concerned about your Irating in the beginning of the video but I see your SR is down below 2, so you’re gonna lose your A lic. Isn’t that more of a concern?
Nice! Say hi next time. About the license... I don’t use the A license at all. The highest license class I would realistically use is B for the VRS Sprint series next season. Going from B to C would limit my options a bit, but there’s only 1 A class series and I’m not looking to participate in it next season. 12 minute races will kill a high license SR quickly, but I’ll get it back just as quick in longer races. The downside of a low iR is lower splits which has a more immediate impact, but in my experience iR rebounds pretty quickly too. The best thing to do is not to think of either of them at all. When I just started out, I wanted to get an A license really quick because I thought it would mean I’m progressing, but in reality a license doesn’t make you a good driver. I got crushed by a guy with a D license and a 3.5k iRating earlier this season. Same thing with watching iR. If you’re in 3rd and you have a gap that’s open, the last thing on your mind should be settling for 3rd because you’ll get 45 iRating and if you wreck you’ll lose 60. This mentality will lower your upper limit of potential iR because you’ll get used to driving too safe instead of driving close and applying pressure. TL/DR: I’m not really concerned about either. I used to and it stunted my growth as a driver. Thanks for reaching out! Good luck out there!!!

I haven’t tried GT3 since they updated the tyre model. I here it’s a huge improvement. I might check out VRS next season.

I think you need to come back to the USF 2000.

That is a good example that a race is not won in the first lap .. ;) That is so sad, especially because the other guy can continue the race ..
Ironically, the guy that punted Eric into me on the first turn of the third race went on to win the race. 😂
