Mate I don't know how but you've found a way to really set your content apart from the other 4WD channels out there... maybe it's the vlogging, music choice, outtakes, the fact that it's just you, Kai & your dad rather than a bunch of sponsors,... I'm not sure but it's professional but also not over-produced at the same time. Like just genuine and more relatable. Absolutely loving it! And actually prefer the Thursday drops of the videos. Watching this on my lunch break haha! Keep up the good work!
3 generations out making memories, how good is it! Did cape york with my folks and my Kids, made for the best trip ever. mad respect to you for making these vids and your Dad especially for following you along for the ride.
Was also thinking how fortunate they are to be spending this time together....what I wouldn't give to allow my dad that same opportunity all over again!
It's funny how much people can fit into one day when you really want to just have fun and enjoy whats around you for what it is. Three generations making the most of 24 hours. Awesome stuff man really nice video!
With that particular model grand vitara you'll notice it has auto hubs. It's highly likely that the air actuator pump is faulty. Common problem with them, best thing to do is fit manual hubs and be done with it.👍
Loving the Thursday episode, only downside being nothing to look forward to on Sunday now! Love the fact that Kai just kept reading his book as you sent it up the hill! 🤣. Fantastic filming as always! 🤙
Another great episode..Kai reminds me so much of my young bloke years ago ...always had his head stuck in a book on the tracks and at camp😂.. Must be a Suzuki thing ..out in the Victorian big dessert area and came across a bloke in a Vitara, by himself, no idea and had fried his transmission trying to get up a sandhill..helped him off hill but he wanted to stay out there..😬
Great job with the filming, you really work hard for our entertainment! And also appeals to most people doing all your 4wding with cars that have modest changes that most people have, and can afford.
I wonder of 5 years ago your old man thought he'd be thrashing his new car through the bush for UA-cam, but here we are. I bet he's having a blast too!!
What a great start to another awesome series! That mud looked like heaps of fun, usually I'm not a fan of mud but on rare occasions it's nice haha. I'm loving these soft relaxing songs rather than the pop style ones. Makes you feel like you are there camping for real just by watching and listening. Super keen for the next parts of the series
Having grown up in Nelson Bay, these places you've covered in this episodes are my old 4WD stumping grounds. The bog holes in Karuah have always been deceptive. They look mild but could get the best 4WDs stuck. I've always stayed away from them as I didn't have a winch back then. Looking forward to the next episode, as the places you mentioned you'll head to, were also old 4WD jaunts of mine. 👍
Kai reading while you 4wd just gives me motion sickness ! What a legend. I think it's awesome you're more than happy to winch out instead of worsening tracks or covering your 4wd in mud but have to say the highlight was you falling over in the bloopers. I've certainly been there!!
Look, I might be hyper-biaised, but I hear your voice, and I click like in the first 5 seconds... then I enjoy the rest of the video! haha cheers mate!
That was an outstanding episode! Beach, mud and water with awesome camp spots. Maniac is right! Your Dad was in beast mode! Really great driving Lads. Rockin one if TJ's shirts! Cool.
12:40 did you wade out to the oyster lease? As kids we lived in Coopernook in the '60s and were often told to go up to the abandoned lease near the Coopernook pub on the Manning River and get some oysters. We took sugar or potato bags, or gunny sacks. The oysters were so big, we only took the ones off the river bed - which had fallen off over time. Ah, that's where my love of oysters came from. I'm 62 now and still overlanding.
Loved this one, karuah is my old stomping grounds - my nan live there for many years up near the oyster farm in town ... I’ll have to get back up there and check it out 👍 what I really love too is the different driving styles / techniques between your dad and you.... like the rutted bog hole at 14:40 - just goes to show that even with a vehicle like your dads that isn’t ridiculously or heavily modified, you can still get out and enjoy some awesome spots .... you went through the guts of that boggy mess where as you dad got through fairly easy by sticking to the high sections and not going into the deep ruts ... just goes to show that often a different line can be all you need instead of 6” lifts, twin lockers and hitting it at 60k’s an hour like some others do 😉👍 hence why we get the little grey mountain goat Zook into spots that surprise many other campers / 4x4’ers.... great clip Tyler, awesome mate ! 👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Awesome video champion, keep up the great work, your dad seems pretty cool and enjoyed his time on the tracks which is always a positive. Love the Nav looks tough and capable. Looking forward to the next one
Absolutely brilliant video mate… I really enjoyed this one. The mighty MUX really showed its own in this video I think. You were right on the money when you said that the weight of his vehicle was a definite advantage in this muddy series. I look forward to my own boys getting a little bit older so we can get out there and do you just a smidgen of what you do. Your videos are always inspiring and enjoyable… You’ve come such a long way in your editing abilities, your documentary style, and I really do enjoy it when your Dad comes along too. He’s a pretty chill guy, and you will have these videos forever to look back on and enjoy the time that you have been able to spend as a three generational group of guys. Love it. Keep up the great work.
OMG... @7.49... At the speed I thought you were going to slide back into the rut, would not have been a good out come, but some how managed to clear it... Well done great driving. Love the vid !!!
It amazes me the tracks you take these vehicles on. With such small tires, one locker and almost no lift. Trucks bigger than that are mostly just used to commute here in the states. 😂 good on ya m8!
That area around there is a favourite, particularly Mungo beach. Some fun tracks in Karuah with that one little hill not far from where you left that has 3 separate trails side by side to the top. Good fun to challenge the old man to top and to practice the skills up and back dowm. The Night driving was very cool to watch 👌
Imagine my surprise when i picked up the phone to find another awesome vid from TT, this is the exact type of wheelin' i want to be doing, thanks heaps looking forward to the next one.
Good video again mate well done and malakai pictures at the end were great reminded me of still pictures of the thunderbirds tv show from back inthe day Cheers
Mate loved the video as always , stay true to yourself you are doing an amazing job , in relation to the video you did before in 4K I truly could notice any difference and I do have a decent TV.
This trip brings back memories for me. It's been nearly 2 decades since I've been in this region of NSW. Can you still camp along Hawks Nest beach, particularly towards Dark Point? Looks like an fantastic trip. 👍
Beautiful area. Did that exact track but the other way around last year, on that muddy section before your that last deep river crossing you will notice a lone rock on your left Both my mates did panel damage on that one. Great video again
Cool video thanks Tyler very enjoyable. It's good to see you in my part of the world sort of. Karuah SF is about 50 - 60 mins from my place in Nelson Bay. From what friends have told me Hawks Nest Beach gets really soft so you must have been lucky. The water was quite clean during the Sept school holidays. I had them off and did a lot of scuba diving in Nelson Bay which was great. I was up in the Myall River SF in June and we kept coming across collapsed bridges. 1 was only about 400m from camp but we had to back track 10ks to get back. Thanks mate keep up the good work
Tyler did you and dad do alot of 4wding/camping when you where a young one? Good to see Kai always mostly gets involved when doing things on the track. Great relationship you guys have. 👌
Hello there i love everything about your life..and your amaising on site locations with your dad and son i hang on to your every live stream .. keep it coming.. im locked down in victoria

I totally agree with you mate, Tyler is something else, he’s number one in my book
Kai’s reading away regardless the bashing around & crazy angles… he’s like she be right mate!!😂🤣👌
Yep he doesn't care less 😂
3 generations out making memories, how good is it! Did cape york with my folks and my Kids, made for the best trip ever. mad respect to you for making these vids and your Dad especially for following you along for the ride.

Lol lol….”shuddup mate I’m trying to read my book here”. 😂😂
Out 4wd driving with your son and dad with the blessing of the wife, does life get any better😆Amen brother
Hahaha...funny the little boy is not even a little bit impressed by his dads driving skills.😂😂😂
Tyler good to see 3 generations out enjoying this great country of ours keep it going look forward to the next one.

Its refreshing seeing isuzu in the bush...very capable too as well...
Your channel is getting better all the time and Kia’s photos are a added bonus
Great job with the filming, you really work hard for our entertainment! And also appeals to most people doing all your 4wding with cars that have modest changes that most people have, and can afford.

I’ve met that dingo on the same beach! He’s a friendly fella!
Nice video and good to see 3 generations come together for some 4wd and camping... At least he is reading a book and isn't on his phone :D
What an epic couple of days. Awesome episode mate.
Yep, that MU-X is a weapon...
Amazing that the mux still has it's rear bumper!

Hey TT in the bog mate. Nice pics Kai and great driving grandpa.
That was great Tyler. Night driving adds a whole other dimension to 4wding, I've done it many times

Great video buddy, best for awhile, lov those exploring track videos 👍👍👍
Another top effort Tyler👍 I use to frequent Myall Lakes area back in the day - awesome part of the world.
Another great video Tyler. Certainly feels like you’re levelling up with the edits. This one was almost cinematic with the story… great work!

Profesh cooker!!
I'm gonna give this recipe a try sometime.. if Tyler Thompson can cook it than I reckon I've got a pretty good chance 😁
Beautiful area. Did that exact track but the other way around last year, on that muddy section before your that last deep river crossing you will notice a lone rock on your left Both my mates did panel damage on that one. Great video again
Best vid so far !

Thanks mate, appreciate it! Hope you are out of lockdown soon
Love the stack at the end 🤣 sick video as aways
What kind of winch have you got Tyler? I like those seat covers too.
Just wondering if the MUX is lifted? Seems to handle those rough tracks fairly well.
Love a review of your dads Mux!
Try sesame oil in your noodle stir-fry next time mate. It'll take it to the next level.
will do!
