There's a bug in versions prior to 7.1 that caused moves learned in battle to not appear right away. If you select the old move, it would still use the new move, and the new move would show up properly after that first turn. They fixed it in 7.1, but at the time this video was recorded they were still on a previous version.
Was literally looking in comments to see if anyone said this. It makes it soo much easier to get them. Plus they don't need to just use red. Each color for the most part makes a specific pokeball. 4 things as tips maybe they already have been mentioned but ill post them anyway: 1= you can plant the apricots, 2= in dark oak forests there are hidden treasures found within slightly bigger trees and 3= you can make other types of balls by combining different collors with black and yellow apricots you can make ultra balls or with blue and yellow quick balls for example. and 4= you can make an auto hammer for punching out the tops and bottoms of a pokeball. good luck and i love to see more

Speaking of quick here's a little neat fast way to get better Pokemon. Just like in the games having quick balls are really really good. You can craft the lids by having cooked blue and yellow apricons in a crafting table. You'll learn that all pokeball lids are just different combinations of 3 in a straight line in the crafting table. The "rare" "uncommon" Pokemon etc you find are bosses that give you rewards if you can beat them. Depending on their rarity they'll be that much stronger than your highest level Pokemon in your party. They will always be higher level than who's fighting them.
