Fossils are found in gravel piles, it’s a block hidden in a pile of gravel. You break that block and you get a Covered Fossil. You put the Covered Fossil in a Fossil Cleaner and get a Cleaned Fossil. At this stage you can tell what Pokémon you will get from it. What Jack wants is the Old Amber. You put your Cleaned Fossil into a Fossil Machine, the Pokémon will grow inside the machine and once it’s done put a ball in the machine and you’ll get it. Your new Fossil Pokémon will be Level 1. Hope this is helpful.

@@acrabdevis 115 is subpar stats for anything. Especially if its your main stat for damage. Any starter can get that by level 40ish for its non-attack stat. And that's Mareep's midlevel for level 50 for its attack stat. IIRC you usually have 150-180 by level 50 of your damage stat. Looked at Zapdos for ref his max sp attack is nearly 400. So yeah, I re-iterate its crap SP attack for Mareep.

Make running shoes. Use Bracket keys to switch between pokemon. The building next to the Dome gym will spawn a legendary bird. Fossils are all over the bottom of the ocean. (Bring doors, and you'll need fossil machines)

Just a piece of advice, when you're hammering pokeballs, put the shell in your left hand (hit f) and then put your hammer in the right, and just hold down right click.
