Some miss information in this video. The rings around the Speedometer and RPM gauge are not unique to the ZHP. The orange needles are though. All 330s have the silver rings. The ZHP does not have the M3 suspension. It's just a little beefier than the regular E46s. The ZHP came standard with Alcantara interior but you coule option leather seats that came in the standard E46.
Yes, they are expensive to maintain. Coolant components break, oil leaks (check the oil filter housing), coils will fail, tires are staggered and camber is negative which chews them up, control arm bushings crap out way before other makes, interior cloth lining pulls away from pillars and roof, hood kidneys break, medallions chip and fade, etc. I love mine... I just don’t know why. Installed Koni struts, new coilovers, K&N cold intake kit, adjustable trailing arms to battle rear camber, adjustable camber plates in the front, new fuel filter, three water pumps, expansion chamber, new vacuum lines, new catalytic converters, etc. it’s a money pit... ugh.
I have a 05 zhp. Trunk lip spoiler zhp package. Car sits from factory .5 inch lower than regular 3 series also. Exhaust is different also. Thin wall performance. M3 control arms and some components. Shocks are 10 percent stiffer in front and 8 percent in rear from regular 3 series. Plus they come with McPherson I believe dont quote me on it same as the percentage of stiffness. Been awhile but it's in that ball park. Lol the american clusters show actual redline at 6850rpm, where as the ones made for Canada only shows your regular 6500rpm redline. Even though it still was 6850rpm plus they didnt have red needles either. Only red with lights on. Some other differences also. Like different cams and engine management (tune) Great car. Lots of fun. I wouldnt hesitate on owning another one. But I'm bias. Lol Garage. '13 x5 msport (daily), '10 e60 m5 ( wifes daily), 05 e46 330i zhp (1of5 in canada with particular options) and a 1999 e39 m5 (garage queen) lol so ya, I'm bias haha

Does the strut bar really make it smoother?
