@@montyjavvadrod1035 Yeah it did, but you have to admit that David always had Wendy's best interests at heart especially after her 'business partner" Antonio tried to swindle her with products that weren't really locally sourced!
Johnny and Stevie’s friendship is so underrated! They had such a good dynamic! Especially when Stevie cries at the hospital when she finds out he is gonna be okay.
@@CelesteKTheNewWaveRevue It came full circle, actually it that's three people because what's her face said that her and two partners were doing their own thing.
@@clipobserver Stevie? Yeah, Johnny is in California setting up his office while she and Roland are staying behind to set up the other motels in and around Schitt's Creek.
That scene on the car w/Stevie is so much more than what she said. The actor, Daniel Levy, can't stop crying BEFORE the scene barely has even begun. David saying that he wanted to show his "friends" that he's not a joke cut a little too close to the bone (for Daniel). It is the utter essence of BOTH David and Daniel. Imho.
I absolutely loved (and cried) when Stevie and David were sitting on the car hood! Both were expressing their true feelings ~ David feeling as if he still had to prove something to people who don’t matter to him any longer. And Stevie letting her best friend know that she needs him to stay! Tears all through this scene!!
It turns out it was a severe case of heartburn. I love how Moira spared the emergency room doctor from having to hear the rest of Johnny's story! Moira tells Johnny to stop and the doctor mouths the words "thank you!"
Stevie and Johnny's relationship is a very underrated part of the show. When he offers to help her with the motel when she breaks down and reveals she can't do it by herself. When he leaves the Awards Show with her after she was broken up with rather than staying by himself and celebrating their win. When he renames the motel after the both of them. When he's in hospital and she seems more concerned and distraught than anyone else there. When they walk with each other down the aisle at David's wedding.
I treasure the moment between Moira and Jocelyn just as the Cabaret cast is running onstage. They clasp hands and look at each other with such excitement and joy. That’s when I understood that they had really forged a friendship. And, never forget, Jocelyn was the one saying all along how talented Moira is. They truly saw and accepted each other.
I cried at every single of my these. Schitt's Creek has moved me like no other show has, and I love it sooooooo much. I will miss not having new episodes but I will never stop rewatching it over and over. David and Stevie and Friendship goals and David and Patrick are couple goals. Now I'm off to watch some Schitt's Creek.
That scene and the one afterwards at Mutt's barn beautifully represented key themes of the show for me. The high class Roses had looked down upon the town where they wound up but gradually realized that there were basic values they had in common with the townspeople (maybe we're more alike than we are different). Followed by the expressions of love for family at the end of the episode.
Love Schitt's Creek. Its a funny show on the surface but man, does it have a lot of heart underneath. Practically all the characters are memorable in their own way. Favorite friendship surprisingly was Moira and Stevie. That Cabaret opening night, was a great moment.
I have friends who watched the first few episodes and said they didn’t like it. I always say “Stick with it until the end of season two”. The show blossoms (pun intended) during that episode and just gets better from there.
It’s a shame there’s not more of the Stevie & Johnny friendship, like at the Hospies when he took Stevie home after she’d been dumped on rather than staying and celebrating.
i was balling like a baby when Stevie and David were sitting outside that dream house [because the show was reaching its conclusion...and i didnt want anyone to leave town]
I cried during that scene and many more each of the six times I've watched the whole series. Twyla and Alexis saying goodbye is another tear jerker, especially when Alexis asks her to come visit her, as well as Twyla walking out the door saying her friend gave her the dress,
The Jazzagals giving up a huge gig to support Moira being at her daughter's graduation, "see, Stevie? We're BOTH up there" looking at the new Rosebud Motel sign, Stevie sick with worry in the hospital waiting room over Johnny, Johnny kissing Stevie on the forehead after they walk down the aisle and Moira (Catherine) gives Johnny (Eugene) this pure genuine look of love. Too many moments to sum up in a countdown.
I was so glad that the anniversary dinner was number one. It was the episode that sealed the deal for me. I binged all of the episodes after that just in time for the return of the final season. This will always rank in my top tier of tv shows of any genre. Time for a rewatch!
My heart broke for Dan knowing just how much of himself he wrote into the show. Knowing that at least 1 of his superficial “friends” had brought him heartache in real life.
When Stevie and David are sitting on the hood of the car in front of the dream house. That moment was so sweet and memorable. I was in tears. Moira’s talk with Stevie before she went on stage for cabaret. There are sooo many good ones. I also think Johnny and Stevie’s friendship and mutual respect for one another is super underrated.
When Johnny walks Stevie down the aisle at David wedding and kisses her on the forehead. It was like Johnny was welcoming her to the family as a "daughter".
Jocelyn and Moira, Johnny and Roland, Stevie and David, Alexis and Twyla, and of course Patrick, Ronnie, Ted, Bob.. Honestly every character and relationship in this show are well developed and precious. Love!
I love how Stevie became an honorary Rose! We never hear about or meet her parents, just like we never meet any friends from David’s past (all the other Rose’s run into a friend or family from the past)
In the beginning of the series there was how much I did not like most of the cast, but it was funny. Then how much I loved everyone, amazed by the subtle, not in-your-face changes and growth. So I had to immediately re-watch the entire series to see what I missed the first time. I too, hope for a Schitt's Creek movie.
I'm working on my own UA-cam video on the show. Schitt's Creek is so good, that in making the video, I've had to watch some scenes and clips dozens if not hundreds of times, and the scenes don't get played out. I mean sometimes I have to take a break (for my health), but I keep finding little easter eggs and layers of subtext, even priceless gems of dialogue I glossed over before. It's something else.
I love David and Alexis. One of the funniest and accurate sibling relationships I’ve seen after Ross and Monica. And they are both hilarious characters.
We watched it once. Then as soon as we finished we watched It again. It is simply one of the best shows I have ever seen. Beautifully written. Poignant, and a spectacular cast that plays so well off each other. It is “simply the best”.
Thank you for making the speech from Johnny #1. If it wasn’t listed, I was going to mention it. It shows a definite change in both Johnny and Moira and, as you said, Rebecca, was a watershed moment! I think it also shows that no matter what has happened to you in the past, everyone is capable of learning and growing from experiences, no matter what your age may be or your supposed status in life.
Schitt’s Creek is now my visual “comfort food.” The DVR is set to record all reruns and then I randomly watch when I’m stressed or cannot take the complexities of some other shows I enjoy; it calms and soothes me every time.
About to start Season 5. Probably my favorite comedy after F. R. I. E. N. D. S. Criminally underrated even though it won 7 Emmys last year. It deserves way more recognition!
This whole show took me by surprise. Found it on Netflix by complete accident, saw the cast and though okay cool. Couple years later it gained major attention and wondered if people would expect too much. Glad to see it was well received and people saw the heart of the show. Yay.
It's an excellent show. Great story, great actors and full of heart. Like This is Us,it's a show that's not only relatable, but teaches you along the way. Everyone should watch it. I'm just bummed it ended so soon. Wasn't long enough.

Totally thought the spa/hotel scene was going to be number 1! I’m surprised it’s only an honorable mention...also thought the car should have been closer to the top. But I like Johnny sticking up for the Schitts being #1
Moira and Rolands relationship has hilarious progression. When he is playing the music loud in the room next door and she had enough and went to talk to him. That exchange is so funny!
