Thanks for the shoutout bro, and great video!
Few notes. I initially didn't create this regime for helping fish color up, that's simply an added bonus possibly due to fish being overall healthier, also I find young males with look better younger as well and others have stated this as well, however it hasn't affected females in anyway as it should not because there are no hormones. The main reason for trying to provide a wide array of available suluable aminos as well as sabilized vitamins such as ascorbic, which you cannot find in heat dried foods such as pellets due to their instability was to help increase the fishes immune response. To help boost it to combat bacteria and parasites before the fish get stressed out and these to take hold. Since I bring a ton of fish in monthly, and was tired of having to medicate, especially on some rare and expensive species, and often losing some due to shipping stress allowing pathogens in, I made up the regime for myself to help the fish recover and stay healthy. Often times a single fish in a tank may be getting picked on, that fish may get super stressed and help bacteria and parasites find a place to colonize and multiply spreading to other inhabitants, next thing you know fish are dropping and your pulling your hair out trying to fix those expensive fish. The regime I've been using for about 3 years now and it's been incredible in terms of completely negating any bacterial parasitic or fungal infections in any of my tanks, including new arrivals. So I wrote up and shared the paper around and the feedback I have recieved has been absolutely phenominal. So again, it's not so much for color but for health. Color is an added bonus likely due to how healthy the fish are

Hey Paul, good stuff. I’m also following Billy’s guidance but just the essentials - Vitality, VitaChem and Garlic Guard. Have been using it for 2-3 months. Fish are healthy and with good color but I can’t definitively say they’ve colored up in a much more noticeable way. It may be subtle if anything. But they seem very healthy so I’m happy with that.
Mixing it for every meal turned into a real pain so I premix a bit of Vitality and Garlic Guard in a squeeze bottle at a 2:1 ratio so that I can shake it and squirt some in the food then add 5-6 drops of vitachem. A real time saver!

One if my favorite things about African cichlids, is the food never reaches the bottom...lol..this is how I judge the amount I feed mine from lake Malawi...if none touches the bottom then I feed up to 4 times....I really enjoy this video. This is an interesting experiment. I can’t wait to see the results. I suppose you will screen capture each fish from the before and after videos and place them side by side to make it easier to see differences? I think it will work for some of those fish. I’m not a cichlid expert at all, but are any of your male fish immature at this point? Could that affect the experiment? I think diet is everything. It’s the key to their health. Unfortunately, there is no way to duplicate their diet in the wild. I wonder if many of the nutrients in those supplement products are synthetic, and therefore only a shadow of what the real nutrients are naturally. None of this matters much for your experiment. Looking foreword to seeing the results.

Not only are you completely annoying but you're also poisoning your fish's livers and bladders with the high amount of vitamins and amino acids. You're basically giving five of the same bottles of the same thing. You should be cutting your product use in half. You don't need to add 20 products to the food. Stick to two or three

  • @kickassclone75

instead of spending $80 bucks on bottled processed. chemicals go to the super market and buy fresh vegatables and put them in a blender and add some garlic. Dilute the mixture with ro water and freeze in plastic bags . Break off pieces and throw it into the tank and watch the fish devour that as well with the same results and the added benefit of more money in your pocket at the end of the day and you can also eat the food as well ,lolz
