As someone with hypermobility, figuring this out in my own body was huge. As some joints got stiff and/or had impingement, particularly my hips and shoulders, I used more compensatory movements that way over-stretched my back and rib cage exactly the way shown here.

Ditto! Because I didnt have this information, and did not have some watching me closely, - I was totally"cheating". Correct movement patterns as expertly described by Connor were only happening on the left side of my body
The Right side of my body is stiff and dysfunctional from the foot up. - a result of surgeries and extended time in a cast at age 15. Because my foot and ankle don't move, my Lumbar tipped in, thorax, scapula and shoulder extended more, while also rotating In.
To balance ( not tip over) my eft shoulder was rotated Out to compensate for my right torso Inward All bc I can't Outwardly rotate properly at the ankle, foot or hip.
I wish I'd had learned this Before the repercussions began showing up in "overuse" Injuries , and Spinal degeneration. 😂
      Connor you rock.

I've known this fact about the hip moving into ER-IR-ER through a squat for some time, but had never seen it demonstrated so clearly in a way that I could really understand WHY that was the case before (nor that included the other associated relative movements through the lower body). Thank you so much for this!

This is tremendous stuff. It makes sense now why someone could have buttwink while squatting and also how APT can substitute for IR when genuine IR does not exist. I can see how the wedge can be good little tricks to force the person into more IR or ER. This is useful for fixing APT on the side overly IR and fixing the other side who is overly ER.

Conor, I ran thru all your videos and can't find anything on tailbone injury. It's been 2 years of PT

So, if I can't squat to 100 degrees, it means I lack internal rotation of the hip.

Hey Connor, about your pectus excavatum fix video, I have two questions. First, if I have "fixed" my pectus and breathing, should I still do the exercises regularly or only if I notice myself falling back into bad habits? Second, how much change should I expect to see, I have noticed far less rib flare and my indentation appears smaller, but will enough repeats eventually completely remove the dent or just fix the ribcage. Thank you for your videos and an answer would be really appreciated.

Your channel has been incredibly helpful to me. I have some real issues with my right side - SI joint and gluteus medius weakness. Some of the exercises you've recommended have helped immensely. It's not entirely better but the whole area is stronger.

Man really just made a whole video and front-loaded it with “I’ll learn what I’m talking about later”
Gray man just means you want to look as harmless as possible in public so if SHTF you can have the advantage of counter-initiating without getting domed right off the bat. Police officers get targeted all the time because the uniform paints a target on your back.
Don’t paint a target on your own back.

Could You give some info, what to do and what kind of exersices, if artheritis in both hipjoints and overgrowth in acetabulum and femoral neck? Internal rotation is basically 0 and basic movement painfull. This stresses lower back and causes lots of back pain.

There is a common problem amongst lifters that when they go into the start position of the deadlift, be it conventional or sumo, there is a posterior pelvic tilt or 'dump', which manifests in like a low back hump. Can the cause of this be tight hip flexors? I would greatly appreciate a video or explanation on how to fix this. Thank you
