Believe it or not but you can fit everything you need to detail inside of a smart car ! I’ve been detailing out of my smart car for the past few months and it’s been working out great, good on gas and it has just enough space to fit everything I need to completely detail interiors and exteriors… it’s good exposure too cause everyone likes to point and laugh at things they don’t understand, if it works and gets the job done then what’s the issue ? Never let other peoples opinions or judgement stop you from doing what you want
I really liked this video. It's really interesting to see other mobile set-ups so you can get better ideas on how to create your own set-up. Thanks for sharing this and keep them coming.
I want to do something very similar to this, except low enough that a rolling bed lid will cover it to hide everything or get a locking camper top and keep it in there for security.
I had no clue you are in Houston Texas for years I have been watching you! Makes me want to get my vehicle detailed by you just to get the experience of meeting you and asking you what you think about my set up!
I’m working from a hb mazda 3 rn. Working my way up to get my truck. It is hard tho bc some ppl just don’t like letting you use the water or power which I understand but wht thy don’t understand is that I charge thm cheaper for tht reason. Once I get my truck my price will go up bc I’ll bring my own water and power.
I had that compressor for the last couple of years and I finally upgraded from it. It has such a low CFM (~2) that it makes using any air tool like a Tornador impossible
Great video .my set up his old set up m I have everything I need .i get the job done customer happy but I do take my stuff out an pack stuff back in the suv . it is time consuming but when you kinda get use to it you know where to put stuff organized that will make it easy for u .but one thing for sure having reels an a detail rig set up like that will be much easier. Iam looking into it
I pull a 8 by 5 trailer that has my water tank water filters and two big tool boxes with all of my detailing stuff like vac air compressor generator chemicals brushes etc.I use the same seaflo filter and pressure washer. After a year of operating with the trailer I think I would rather operate out of a van lol. Pros and cons to having your stuff in your truck or trailer and the weather is a con.
I’m thinkin about a trailer too. Maybe a lil bigger like a 7x14 so have a lil “office space” lol. Sure a van is more convenient but I like the trailer more for some reason. How you like your trailer setup?
this is a good system to get it done, unfortunately without a cover in my area your stuff would be stolen within a few days. if you buy a camper top style cover to the truck at that point you might as well just get a van
But a truck holds it's value better than a van and is better in some ways like gas mileage. Personally I'd rather have a truck that you can slide a platform into for detailing, then take it out if you need to use it for normal truck stuff like hauling lumber, off roading or camping. You can use a van for those things too, but more difficult, especially if you have it setup.
Humbling to hear this young man talk about this smart start budget rig setup. Develop a conservative business plan of investing as much as you can spare of the profits back into your business to cover maintenance/breakdowns, equipment upgrades, and MOST important -> marketing. Build a consistent foundational focus for long term growth over quick profits. Trust me, It pays off!
Electric. Two reasons one you don't need to have too much psi to wash a car without chipping the paint. Second reason is easy to use and cost less then having to worry about gas level and waiting for it too cool down before storing because the fumes of the gas and exhaust
No you don't need a pump. The reason he has it is because he doesn't fully understand how gravity feed works. So the mistake he made was having his pressure washer and reel elevated from the water resource. You can't extract water against gravity. Everything needs to either be level with the water tank or have the water tank be elevated well everything use is at the bottom

Def depends where you live , but you right. I’ve been working out of an open bed 250 for about 6 months now , so far so good with weather but these fucking birds man lmao hate to
They do not and the motors on them will burn out if you do not have a water pump (like in the video) to consistently pull water from the tank. At least in my experience of gravity feeding that's what happened.
It's a nice setup but you would need a Sprinter Van where I live. Too many people would steal your gear or harass you by calling the cops. Competition you know
hello sorry to disturb you but could you activate the French translation please on your videos this one interests me in particular I live in France and I don't have a translation and I love your videos, thank you (Google Translate)
What did you think about this video? Excited to showcase and talk with detailers and their mobile rig setups!
I have a setup in cmax hybrid, very compact, i always use costumers's water and eletricity, if you do a good job they dont care.
@detail groove how u do it on water where do u fill it at

Would you mind if you link what in the video instead of linking what you use?
That will be more helpful to check them out 👍🏻
I have a hard top bed cover that locks but does interfere with mounting things due to the height issue. Thinking of getting a camper shell.

@@EileenTheCr0w yup I got a 2015 Chevy Silverado with the 6.5ft bed and it’s perfect for my detailing
Hey brother where did you connect your seaflow pump to .
I got a low profile setup with a westington 3700 generator. All of it is under my bed cover with a low profile 60 gallon tank😎
Link to self prime pump I need that to avoid running the 2nd overflow line to tank from my pump I have now 👍🏽
Any luck with a link for the pump? I'm really interested in this pump.
What about when it rains? Woods untreated, electrical equipment all out in the elements for rain and theft.
Can you not write off the truck and equipment for taxes?
This truck will pay for its self in no time
How has that generator worked for you ?
What do you need a compressor for
Yo brother sick mane
How are you getting gas in the tank with the gas cap covered
so do u always use the customers water
Do you know who sets up mobile rigs in texas?

what model seaflo waterpump is that?
I bought one from Amazon but unfortunately it leeks. The problem is that I can’t return it back because with that issue, it works.

it’s: SEAFLO 12V 5.5 GPM 60 PSI Water Diaphragm Pressure Pump a.co/d/dbCRfhp.
You recommend a gas or electric pressure washer just starting

Some outdoor carpet would really make that wood look a lot better 👍 great setup
Or Dimond plate...😊
Get a van or a truck with a cab…you need to hide your your equipment from the weather elements and don’t forget thieves too….

They do not and the motors on them will burn out if you do not have a water pump (like in the video) to consistently pull water from the tank. At least in my experience of gravity feeding that's what happened.
