Morning Richard, Great to see her back up, not nice see them down. I could come and groove that concrete for you if your have issues? We have various machines available.
Oh wow. What an investment of time getting a cow up time after time for more than a week. You're a good human Richard. :) Looking forward to seeing the wall when it's done. I've never seen a stone wall actually built up new!
Great work Richard.Twins are a killer on a cow but she will be fine. She is sitting fine and that's a big help when it comes to standing up.Love your old house and yard.
Oh bless her, she was giving it a strong try before you came over to help her. Fingers crossed she heals alright! I know its stressful, but its the realities of farming and all that! Harry is doing a great job too with listening and helping you
The stupid thing is that (some of) the animal rights people will see that and claim farmer abuse but this is cow health care and shows how much farmers look after the welfare of thair animals, you're doing a cracking job, she looks like she is well on the mend there.
Aw she’s beautiful and you can tell she really does trust you Richard and haz as she isn’t bothered in the slightest about how close you are get hope she’s going to be okay 🙏❤️
A very interesting video. How you helped the cow get back on its feet. And that it worked. Keep us updated on how the cow is doing. I hope she makes it and gets fit again. The garden wall project is progressing. It will definitely look very good when the wall is finished. When will the first cut for silage start? And could Harry show his room again and give an update on his model farm? Or does Harry already have his own UA-cam channel? Stay healthy everyone 👋👋💪💪👍🚜
Good morning Richard and Harry, I must say it’s a shame to see a cow go down I wish you all the best with her, You take care of yourself and stay safe.🐄🐄🚜⭐️⭐️👍👍
Hats off to you for showing it on UA-cam certain members of society use that as a tool to beat you with, good for members of the public that are not in farming to see what goes on and care put into the stock on daily basis and cow this morning do splits at half 4 so I feel your pain, if she improve on the field where is she is its her best chance
Morning funky farmer, I’m sure it’s a distressing time when one of your herd is injured but it looks like she’s being spoilt with the field to herself , speedy recovery buttercup ( I’ve typed speedy recovery buttercup in a farmers accent ) 😊
Sad thing to see at least it's getting help from you still waiting for you to get your new chickens on your farm can't beat a fresh egg not like the stale super market ones hope it's soon
She is nearly there mate. Being outside will definitely help her. Starting to graze the minute she got up is also a good sign. She must be a young cow.
Nice video Richard, fingers crossed she's going to be ok, she looks steady enough but I'm not a Farmer. That sling is really well designed, not a murmer from her when you lifted her. Quick question if you have time- When you have a cow down like that, how do you go on if she's still producing milk ? She seemed to have a noticeable sized udder, as though she might need milking later on ?
It's great to stone walls. A grope of men and me toke down old stone buildings on a next door farm to build a stone wall around a local church one year. The local fass did up church hall off parsh.
harry three years ago i had a heifer with a terrible calving, calf was dead and the heifer couldnt scramble up. next morning asshe was in a straw beďded yard i drove the tractor and front end loader aand managed to get some strengthened webbiing inder ghe heifer and lifted her to take weight for 5 minutes. slowly we l😊😊t her down
yes best place for her out in the field they get a bit traction on the soft ground the only problem is when you get a wet cold night like we had here in Devon last night blimey didn't it rain cold aswell.......it's milking her aswell is the problem you would not want her going down in the parlour......if you still got her calves you could let her rear one of them and stay out in the fields all summer
Seems a shame but if she’s trying to get up that’s half the battle with down animals. Notice she’s got rings round her eyes notice a few of my cows and the calves born in the last few weeks have had that
I hope she pulls through for you and don't want to put a downer on it, but we always found 9 times out of ten they'd not get over it..but you have to try
That cow needs an animal chiropractor. Poor thing. She's actually doing a cow yoga pose when she's standing. Clever girl knows how to stretch her spine.
Sometimes you have to accept you can’t do everything. Getting someone in for the wall will at least get it done even if you are theoretically capable of doing it yourself. Good luck with the Downer
Wow how quick was that lift. Top work there - great to see what can be done for the cows to help them!
Glad the cow is doing better. Looking forward to seeing the wall rebuilt. You are fortunate to have such lovely stone work there. 😊👍👍

We have had a couple of cows that needed lifting this spring ! Only a farmer would watch another farmer lifting a downer cow 🫣
Hi Richard thank you again for the video and amazing work again by you and harry looking after your animals.😊
Great Apple blossom this year hope the air frosts don’t kill the blossom and apple buds, dry stone walling is a great art
Great video Richard showing the ups n downs of farming, hope she is up and doing okay.

Interesting vblog. Lovely weather and the grass is very green .
If I lived in Tytherington, I would volunteer to do some jobs around the farm 🎉😊
Good Morning Richard and Farmer Harry Cornock, good video!!!! 😊👍

Interesting video all round . Thankyou .
Great to see the shining down on you dry everything out fingers crossed for the poor cow
Nice to see that cow back up. It just needed the last bit of help to get up
Good luck with everything on the farm ahead 👍👍👍
JFC have nice small plastic troughs, a lot better than buckets

They haven't half trimmed the paddock 😮😅.. hope the cow gets better the sun might help .. think we all need that.. stay safe 🏴
Must be very frustrating. Keep up the good work

I have lifted many cows with hip clamps often after cows haved calved after nerve damage.

niceley done
A stone wall should last 200 years if done right I’d love to get on that wall
Screwfix buckets are £1.30 now if you buy 5 or more. That's inflation for you.
Best of luck ,allways a worry and ti e consuming, were there is life there hope and she is trying 👍
That’s farming for you. Plenty of ups and downs
Do you still ues the electric bike
How old is that cow Rich?
She'll be up in no time
Seems a shame but if she’s trying to get up that’s half the battle with down animals. Notice she’s got rings round her eyes notice a few of my cows and the calves born in the last few weeks have had that
