Planes already mostly fly themselves. There's a saying in the airline industry that pilots are paid for takeoffs and landings. Almost everything else is automated.

I looked up that troll level on the level viewer, and it said it was an invalid code. Did the creator remove it? That is unfortunate if they did, because I was kinda looking forward to playing this one myself.
1:16 whats up with the point values going 200, 400, 800, 200, 200, 1000, 2000? I guess the munchers that got hit directly by the POW don't combo, but like, why?
The point value goes up with each enemy you jump on without touching the ground, stops at 2000 points total and you start getting 1 ups until you land on the ground or a platform and then resets
6:00 TL;DR its not going to be flying cars, its going to be moreso fully autonomous drones. we wont have that, because we already have flying cars: helicopters. As well, for general transport a plane or most things in the air cant stop without falling, which is why delays in flights are never small, each plane is scheduled so they form a "line" in the air, with enough gap inbetween to allow for human error by the pilots, to all fly in on the runway in sequence, since how airplanes fly is that they move to a "line" that extends out from the runway they want to come in on, and then they go directly towards the airport, which is partly why VOR navigation is so useful. In having such a mass amount of cars that would be flying, they would be extremely expensive, as they would have to support their weight fully, and we also already utilize the 3rd dimension partially in road construction already, with highways and intersections over interstates taking form of bridges. I believe its more of airliners and such, where they already have partial automatic navigation, but its still mostly the pilots, or fully autonomous drones, instead of piloted by humans remotely.
I thought of self driving airplanes and it would actually be quite easy to police. Take away all driver manual control and have the computer fly the thing using gps. Fly it well below commercial heights and put in an emergency cutoff that is entirely manual that all it does is open a chute and send a distress call or locate a position to land. Give emergency services personnel the same but with some basic manual controls if you get close to an emergency scene for positioning. It would be easier than programming self driving cars to a point because we already have fly by wire systems. Flying vtols do not need to worry about lines on the road, curves, etc and you can hard program in straight line sky highways and generous distance allowances. Put in a constant speed for all of them and done! I will wait for my cheque ;)
@@phosphorus4 There are quite a few existing automated flight control systems and more getting developed each day :). Several drone programs utilize automated flight. It actually wouldn't be super expensive (definitely more than a consumer car right now) but it would pay for itself quickly considering you would no longer need as much money for road maintenance, deaths from vehicle collisions would go way down, and most of the air vehicles would likely be battery powered which would help global warming. I think the major stumbling hurdle would be Legislative.
Oh hell no! Self driving vehicles might as well be illegal to own and so should flying cars which, on behalf of the US government, and preventing car crash deaths from skyrocketing and aviation laws having to become as strict as design laws should've been decades ago, I hope never see the light of day outside of a display case in an aviation museum. 😑
“Contrary to what people are led to believe, flying remains very hands-on operation, with tremendous amounts of input from the crew.” It’s called Google 😛 Small personal aircraft may be different, but, put in proportion, still…also there’s a good reason most people don’t have a pilot’s license…
That beginning transition into the troll was absolutely amazing. Great level.
The best part about this level is how unassuming it starts... someone could get this in super expert and be like "how is this SE?" And then WHAM!
12:58 How easily "WOOOOO" turns into "NOOOOO".

To be fair, Grimmtombobulus did like 90% of the work on this level. That guy is great
But also to be fair, Smighty has had some of the most fun levels in a long while... and is also great 😏

I love your videos man! I gotta get twitch to catch your streams, but anyways, keep up the good work!
There are self-flying aircraft... Auto-takeoff, autopilot, and auto-land all actually exist...
Hey DGR, I just subscribed on Twitch and can’t wait to watch your awesome SMM2 skills.

why are most of these levels never available when I try and play them? 90 percent of them are never there
Because they use glitches and get taken off the servers by Nintendo

Combo?…the points just go up for each enemy…that’s how it always works right?
The point value goes up with each enemy you jump on without touching the ground, stops at 2000 points total and you start getting 1 ups until you land on the ground or a platform and then resets
Wrong @eugenethomas1636 take a look at 4:34 the score can go up to at least 8000

Dave...we already have air police...its called air traffic control, and the FAA... 😂
Yeah but they can’t actually go up there and stop you

Also that stuff would cost a lot of money which we don’t have right now 😛
