- How To Troubleshoot A Computer That Won'T Turn On can be easily done if you understand the computer turning on sequence. You can also use this principle to test a computer turning on with led light and fan spinning but no display on monitor. In This Troubleshoot a Computer complete series intro, we will focus on 10 main parts of any computer so that you can troubleshoot and fix any PC problems by yourself.
If one or more parts can be diagnosed, then a replacement of that part is advised rather that its repair which can be very difficult and costly.
This is the introduction part of this series, we will tackle laptops after the completion of this first desktop PC series.

Thank you for the great video brother, you have just saved me a few quid. I managed to fix my self-built PC that just didn't turn on one day. The cable that connects the on button to the mobo had come away from the pins(probably my son playing with the memory sticks, while I was trying to teach him about the innards of the PC). I thought it might have been the 3 months old EVGA and almost returned it. But after doing the paper clip test, I realised it wasn't to blame. I came across your great series and I looked at the cables closely, then found the problem. A BIG great thank you from me. May God bless you generous soul. Giving means receiving.

what do you think is the problem
I think the problem might be the GPU. The games you are trying to play are too demanding and the graphics card is overloaded/can't keep up and the system shuts off.

@@Blurfectionn it turned out to be: I clicked in the ram half way so the RGB was on but the RAM wasent working. Make sure that you can't see the gold at the bottem.
Hello I have a new pc I it says no signal I used the pc and then turned black now it says no signal I tried to get the gpu out and then on again and still nothing can I get help
My daughters amd would boot to windows then shut down, she did this quite a few times until it wouldn't boot to windows {black screen} and shut down. I opened it to find the cpu cooler retaining bracket had broken and the cooler had fallen of the amd cpu. I installed a new cooler and I get a green light on the asus mb and all the fans working but no screen or post beeps, I have taken out the ram sticks, no post beeps, removed the video card, no post beeps. Not sure but I think the cpu may have fryed? could a bad cpu cause this? as all this only happened after the cooler fell of the cpu? regards Tony from Australia

hello, i just built my pc and all my compnents are new but im not getting a display. i played around with the ram slots still not fix. all the fans are spinnning. any help?

Why stopped on the harddrive troubleshoot hanging in this troubleshoot series!? Why not continue to laptop troubleshoot and the others!? Why there's few new uploads of videos. . . I was actually thought I'll have something to learn every night by watching a video from you once a day! Why stop!!??
An issue of space, I had moved out of that initial space, and currently I am unable to film those types of videos in my my current space, but I'm working on it. The recent lack of new uploads is due to month of Ramadhan I took a break, in a few days it'll be over and I will resume the uploads, and yes to complete the series and then to move on to laptops.

Please Toshiba laptop when I boot or sitch it on and the Toshiba logo comes after that I small black dash will come on left top Conner on the laptop the laptop screen will turn black till I switch it off but when I switch it on the same problem, please tell me why it does that and show me how to fix it

Bro i tried to update bios and it was updated successfully but after when it reboots it shows only a no signal screen and also cpu is running everything is on but keyboard does not work and monitor shows no signal

I would honestly give anything for some guidance on this build I just made its feeling like $2500 down the drain I couldn’t afford to begin with :( everything looks beautiful from cable management to rgb I was so proud of my first build but can’t get it to post the fans and gpu and everything boot up so does my AIO liquid cooler but after about a week of trying to figure out why I can’t get a display through HDMI on my screen I feel defeated :/
Dont give up yet. I helped out someone recently, the video is on the channel, he couldnt get his upgraded pc to Post neither, he had the wrong CPU for the build. Get in touch asap.

Can we use other model PC ' s power supply on our own different PC !
Yes, as long as its the same type that has the same connecting plugs, like 20/24 mobo pins, 4/8 cpu pins etc, many PSU are standard and will cross fit different computers, but some makes are proprietary so you may have weird plugs that are non standard.

Hey man I brought a gaming pc setup it, it's been 5mounths it's doing okay but now I don't know sudden my GPU stopped working not going signal to monitor, my GPU is 1050 ti Nvidia GeForce and connected with Samsung 27" monitor, now also ram will show 14gb usable , after I checked not fixed till now , when boot computer it would always shows that gpu's fan spin for a while but it's not working now, and my GPU doesn't take any external power, it taken from Mob so please tell me I m now in hurry!!

Hi my computer screen not working
I own amd phenom ii x4 965 and it was showing three cores only so i decided to put bios on default by removing it cell/battry
And and i cleaned my cpu little bit bcz it had thermal paste near its pins
And now my pc shows no display
And my bios has a option smart start in which it does not shows loading screen, it goes direct to window logging
No i dnt know if my bios boot or not
But
Pc fans are spinning
Motherboard led on
I hear motherboard beep
Cpu fan it runnung
Help me
