Fans spinning, no display, no usb accessories get power. Tearing it all down and trying again tomorrow.

I just got all my pc parts there all brand new I build the pc all the rgb and fans are on and it won’t post I watched the vid and did everything u said do u think it is the motherboard
So i have al pluged in an a new psu(corsair cv550 wats) and i know that i have power because i can se it underneath the power button…but it don’t power on and it gives me no ligth(led) from it so i don’t know what’s wrong with my desktop(gaming pc)
I'm having some issues with my gaming PC. I recently decided to clean my fans on my case I took the back fan out and wiped it down and gave it a good clean then put them all back, then I turned my PC on and it boots I get through the Asus splash screen but can't see the windows lock screen I have tried everything I can think of idk what could have gone wrong I didn't do it on carpet I can boot into safe mode tho could it be fixed from there?

One technical question; I got my new pc with the following components; Asus Prime B550-Plus, AMD Ryzer 7 5800x, 16GB of RAM, and AMD FirePro W5100 video card, when it goes on sleep mode and later on, try to continue using it, I don't see any image at all, even the front panel lights are blinking, what can I do, please?

Hi RA Visuals I tried to install 2 gpus in my system, 1050 and a 1650super that’s requires a 6 pin that I plugged in, the 1050 was in the first pcie and 1650 was in the second pcie, after I tried to boot it wouldn’t boot, so I unplugged everything and took everything out and my motherboard light was turning on when I tested to see if my motherboard was fried. It wasn’t so I plugged everything back in and tried to boot and it didn’t, I took out my cpu and went to see if the motherboard was getting power and it was. So basically my motherboard won’t get power when the cpu is installed, is there. A problem with the cpu or motherboard and is there any easy fixes? Thanks 😊
Did you ever check the USB-C port itself? It went off when you were plugging something in. If the pins inside were bent and shorting, that would have caused this issue. Or if you were trying to blindly plug it in (because it's at the back of the PC) you may have shoved it into the standard USB port next to it and bent those pins. Replacing the MoBo fixed it so that lines up with that theory too.
This could totally be accurate. Honestly, I'll never know, lol

Built a brand new pc, been working the first 2 weeks. And after trying to install steam games (was taking 3 days), between the 2nd and 3rd day I get the dram yellow light and asus mobo cpu code 07. Nothing was touched.

Brand new pc build and it has never shown display. I found out that my X470 pro is meant for 2nd gen Ryzen CPU’s, but I have a 3600x. Should I go somewhere to update the bios or am I completely screwed.

i have a problem that i cant find on youtube.. when i put a usb bluetooth on pc the pc cant boot it stuck in loading screen.. but when i put it out or never put it at all the pc starts always normal.. So I have a PC the PSU stopped working got a new, I tested the psu and it worked I plug the PSU into everything else and nothing powers on not even the case fans I've tried jumping the power button.. nothing I dont know what to do ive reset the cmos and nothing happened and all checked all the obvious things like outlets and power switch also the PSU is the same brand a wattage as the one I had that broke

As per number 9 - If anyone has actually installed a Ryzen CPU incorrected, they'll know about it, when they see they now have bent pins. Possible but difficult to do, without noticing, the CPU is not falling into place evenly and smoothly
I took apart an old Lenovo workstation and re built it yesterday, it boots ok but there is no signal on my monitor. I tried switching off the PC by pressing the power button but that didn't work, so I had to pull out the cable. Could the motherboard be shorting out in some way?
It might be the cmos battery if not might be a psu failure
My dumb issue was i didnt have a graphics card and didn't know ryzen cpus dont boot without a graphics card. Lights on, fans running, but no post. Unless i did something else wrong i have to wait till God knows how long to actually use the system cause of gpu shortages.
Pls help me, i think after I updated bios at windows, I didnt know it was not advisable, because I keep on bsod thats why maybe my bios are not updated, so I tried to update at the latest, it works fine after on then suddenly a blue screen appeared indicating saying irl not lesss equal and the. My motherboard vga led is on, no display at my monitor, everythig turns on excrp mg monitor no display, i tried reseatinn gpu, removing cmos battery, they said that maybe gpu can be faulty but my gpu is working fine I can run and stream games 1080p pls help me Im freaking out do I need to reassamble all of them? 🥺 this is my first pc that ive worked for how many months
You can also reset the cmos by changing the jumper in the bottom of the motherboard near the front panel connectors on the motherboard. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't anyway
so i just got this pc and it was working good for over a month and just yesterday, it crashed and gave me the bsod. i created a windows media installation usb and booted it up and it worked fine but then it crashed again and it wont work

hey i had the same problem with u , and turned out that my psu and mobo was fried and i had to change both components. hope this helps u :)

@@earlofthesea owh okay buddy ur welcome and take care of your pc now as im having a dead pc once again. One day the pc turned off after a few seconds of moving it while the pc was on. The psu switch wont turn on because it usually shows a red light on the O/I button. Ordered a new psu and hoping that only the psu is the problem not the mobo considering i replaced both psu and mobo just a few weeks back. Wish me luck with my pc buddy

Should point out here that too much paste whould only cause shorts with liquid metal. Normal thermal paste whitch most people use, is non conductive and therefore won't cause shorts.

Cyber power model C. Asus Prime b450m-a motherboard. Having similar issues to some of those in the comments and the exact symptoms from your last video. Power on with lights and fans but no POST. By chance it would come back on hours later after trying it again. Finally a year into owning it I shutdown the PC and wake up to a NO POWER UP. Motherboard issue or Power supply?

@@agnosyidk7170 Yeah the most unlikely solution. Used a blow dryer on the inside and now it works. Forgot to mention we have a swamp cooler and its summer time so im.sure the humidity got inside and the computer was preventing further damage by not powering on. Everything works fine now without the blow dryer

Yo please respond, i just built my pc and i used my old hard drive form my old pc and I can't get it to boot pass BIOS, i have windows 10 on my hard drive and its still not working, i tried different sata ports, sata wires and it still isn't working

@@landon960 Yo i have been fixed this you just have to reinstall windows and boot using to drive used to install window, it turns out i accidentally wiped my hard drive without knowing so windows wasn't on my hard drive

@@patsu2 Yes I did, apparently my windows installation was corrupt when I installed it, so I reinstalled windows and now it's running great. Hope you figure out whats wrong.
My motherboard lights turn on but when i press the power button, nothing turns on. If my BIOS isnt updated, could that be preventing my pc from booting

If I take out GPU the PC starts booting and fans spinning but if I put it back it won't even boot even PSU won't, My GPU doesn't need any extra pin connectors to run that's not issue. I'm really frustrated please help
could be the pci-e slot. have you tried another one? Or a different GPU?
@@RAVisuals Yes sir, I have tried another GPU and the motherboard gets power and everything boots up correctly and drivers install properly too I have been searching this for too long still no clue what is it that causing my PC to not power up after I insert my main GPU

My pc was working just fine, then outta nowhere it rebooted and now the debug LED is stuck on 3C. I've tried Google and i have no clue what to do. Tried resetting the cmos, removing ram, removing ssd, removing all usbs... No clue what to do.

@@RAVisuals It's the big bang xpower (x58) The code in manual says "Mid POST initialization of chipset registers. Detect different devices (parallel ports, serial ports And coprocessor in CPU... Etc.)"
doubt this will be replied to or even seen, but i had turned on xmp on a prebuilt. it caused the pc to crash and go in a reboot loop. i went in to my pc and used the pins to reset the CMOS, it worked, booted to windows but i couldn't open the BIOS. so i tried it by going into windows and using the shift click method, and the pc just stayed on and didn't do anything. so i shut it off, and it wouldn't even turn on. i did it again, and then the bios popped up, i launched windows fine after and all the settings in BIOS were normal, but after a few minutes my pc shut off and refused to turn on. so now i'm stuck with a pc that won't turn on, but if i connect an led keyboard or mouse, it will light those up. the reason i can't remove the cmos battery is theres a GPU bracket screw that WILL NOT come out. i assume they put the wrong screw in or stripped it when building the pc.
I have had this issue when trying to overclock RAM and you really do need to reset the CMOS to clear the XMP profile that you set. Try everything to get that GPU bracket out and take that CMOS battery out!
@@RAVisuals yup, ended up doing it and nothing. i got ahold of asus and they said the jumper i removed and threw to the side is needed for the pc to even boot, so i ordered some and am waiting on those. my psu is working, can plug in my keyboard and mouse and they light up. no idea if there's a mobo issue, but honestly kind of doubting that, as my back usb ports wouldn't function if that was the case. so clearly there's power flowing through everything. so if it is the jumper, easy fix. could just be stuck in the clear function and that's why it won't power on. if not, heading up to a repair shop to get it looked at, need someone more experienced than myself. might be my power button as another part of the issue even, but this mobo is weird and is specifically for this pc, so doesnt have a model number and not sure exactly which pins to jump to test to see if part of the issue is the power button on the case.
Super useful. For me it was having my display plugged into my motherboard rather than the graphics card.

My pc crashed and it was on the error screen for 2 hours so I clicked the switch on the power supply and when I try to turn it on there is not display and my keyboard won't light up. I somehow managed to fixed it the other day and then it just happened again. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it?
If you're regularly getting BSOD's I'd clear your CMOS battery and start with that. If not, something in windows may be corrupted and you may need to do a reset or fresh install. Always backup your files before doing anything though.

I built my pc and the motherboard rgb flashes for a second before turning off, same thing with the ram. Then when I turn off the system the ram rgb turns on for seconds and then turns off. No fans are spinning and gpu is off

Hey @FallenSuperheroSG there were 3 problems at the time, my computer has now been running fine for almost a year now:
1 the power button from the case was not plugged in to the motherboard, that is very important. All your case plugs need to be connected to you motherboard when testing
2. After that test all your components, the power supply you can test with a paper clip search that up. If you have any friends that have pcs ask them if you can test you gpu on their computer also their ram if u want. Make sure u get a display with your gpu on another computer if possible.
3. The third issue I had was that my motherboard was broken, the gpu ports didnt work at all. I got a new one and it worked.

@@c02gaming50 I found that I didn’t have a cable plugged into the psu. There were two mobo cables but i only had one plugged in. Keep looking, I’m sure you’ll find a solution
I got a cpu not an apu so i thought i could test it/ post without a gpu got scared bcs mobo had a red light
For me I've had alot of problems due to user error when i got my pc my ram wasn't clicked in then later on when i had that fixed i got a ram upgrade and didn't push the ram far in enough 😅

I was talking to my friends on discord on my pc and all of a sudden, my keyboard and mouse stopped working and there was no signal on my monitor. @@kento6312 Around 20 minutes ago, I opened my case one last time to see what was wrong with it. I saw a red light on the motherboard indicating that there was something wrong with my cpu. I checked the cpu cable and I touched it and it instantly popped out. So I plugged it back in properly and booted it up and it brought me straight into windows. All this time it was a loose cable😐. How is your pc doing. Please update me.
@@AaronC06 For my pc, I plugged all the cables out and back in, but nothing works. I still have the same issue. I think its a PSU problem, because I smelled some kind of melting just before it crashed. I'm really worried about my pc, but nothing I did works.

I took my ddr3 8gb ram 1600mhz out while cleaning my pc and my oc now just shows the gigabyte logo on screen with white lines on screen, so i tested my ram and it failed the test so i ordered 2 sticks of 8gb ram so hopefully it fixes it and my pc will boot up
All i had was 1 stick of 8gb ram so maybe when i install the 2 sticks that i had to order into the 2 slots that i have maybe it will fix my problem

@@Kalogiannhsss what exactly happened? I put mine together then the pc started for like a split second and turned off and nothing would happen after I would push the power button. I have a new mobo coming in tomorrow afternoon hopefully that’s what it was
What if you don’t have the manual
Check the mobo manufacture’s site. They have online pdf of the manual. For example, search asrock b450mf-4 manual and look for a pdf

only my motherboard LED turns on, does that mean my PSU is dead?
It does not, if your led's are turning on, you're getting power but is it a debug led giving you an error code?

Did you ever find the solution to this? I also have the same issue. I replaced my PSU and still nothing turns on but the motherboard LED still turns on

Make sure your
Graphics card and ram are seated in the mother board correctly

RA Visuals I think I found the issue I’m guessing my motherboard wasn’t able to support the CPU I bought because when I put the old one back it started working fine

hi, my old desktop was fine when i shut it off but when i tried to power it on next morning, the power light came on for a few seconds (after the beep) then went off..........same thing happened despite several tries......
i tried another SATA cable for the SSD and used the DVD-ROM's power cable and still the same problem........i then connected the original HDD using just the DVD-ROM's power cable and the CPU fan started spinning at FULL-SPEED non-stop !.......i've never had the CPU fan run that fast before......
i'm afraid of re-connecting my SSD to the motherboard again in case the SSD gets damaged......is it the motherboard at fault ?
The light on my case turns on, but none of the fans or anything seem to boot up.

And I have a pre built ibuypower
i just built a brand new gaming pc (never turned on, dont have any drivers installed. A FRESH PC) and i tried to install windows 10 via a usb drive and "successfully" installed it and as i try to boot up windows it gets stuck on getting ready and freezes EVERYSINGLE time and i ran out of ideas of what to do. does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Id say you may need to wipe and reinstall windows man. Also, resetting your cmos battery may help.
There’s no way I can wipe windows 10. I haven’t been able to get into the actual pc
