My theory is that it's a digital dream and ENA is the Dreamer. It explains how despite looking like (and sometimes acting like) she belongs in this world she has moments where the world weirds her out too.
Kinda like how you sometimes notice weird things in your dreams despite not being fully aware that you're dreaming.
