Yeah, it's kinda bizarre the way they did it tbh. And none of that is even to mention how good it would be if this had been designed for touch and interacting with the network could incorporate various kinds of gestural control
Looking forward to this! This is the most unique drum machine I’ve come across (mind you it’s limited ) but still the sequencer alone deserves a tutorial. Can’t wait!
Thanks for a really well explained and comprehensive walkthrough. It will be extremely useful so thank you for taking the time and effort to do this 👍👏
Thank you for an excellent tutorial of this app. Thanks to you I’ve got a much better understanding of how it works. Good to know the manual is excellent!
Thanks Cara! YT is so weird, it was showing you as GiOS when in live chat. I never understand how these platforms seem to sometimes show different handles for the same people, bizarre!
Just bought it. At like 4$ that’s a good price, it’s like a super rare discount. That’s how awesome this one is. It seems Axon 2 isn’t in the AppStore anymore and now a gem.
Probably depends on your host app, maybe ask in a forum specialised in that host, this is not something I personally ever do, as I tried before with other auv3 and found it a bit of a pain to set up.
@@GavinskisTutorials Thanks for the answer! Cubase does not respond to program change messages. Perhaps this functionality requires some improvement. I used Soma Lab Ornament 8, which works on similar principles. That's why I became interested in this plugin))
@RobertoBlatt oh sorry, you're right, it's not standalone, it's only usable as AUv3, but it DOES produce sound. If you want it can also just be used to send midi to other apps.

They should use little arrow-heads to showing the routing; it could even be toggled on and off.

This sequencer is ideal for experimenting and thinking out of the box. Thank you for the great deep dive, I enjoyed watching! 🤩
Thank you buddy! Yeah that neural network keeps the old brain cells ticking along for sure 😉
Great walkthrough, encourages me to delve more deeply into the synth side in particular.
Cheers John! Yeah the network gets all the attention, being so different and dominating the UI like that. But the synth part is really fascinating too

Yeah, you're obsessed with this, I noticed 😂. I think, too, that it's the most unique drum synth / sequencer combo on iOS for sure
Wow. This is deep and cool. Thanks for the extensive tutorial, Gavinski!
Pleasure Greg!

Audio Damage really do nice pricing on their iOS apps, yes!
Thanks! I‘ll definitely come back to this, when I go deeper with the app! Overall a great package with the sequencer and/or synth engine!
Definitely!
Very nice tutorial! I have a lot of fun with it. Thank you very much.
Cheers Francesco! Yeah this app is hella fun
I really enjoyed the stability of it even in beta. And a big step for axon - both sound and even more important in usability!
I never really learned to use the first one properly so can't comment on that, good to know they didn't make it less usable I guess 😂
love the app, love this video, thank you Gav!!
Cheers Dan!
Hello! Can anyone give me a hint? Is it possible to dynamically change presets in Axon 3? Using modulation or automation?
Probably depends on your host app, maybe ask in a forum specialised in that host, this is not something I personally ever do, as I tried before with other auv3 and found it a bit of a pain to set up.

O som vem do Axon3 mesmo! Standalone tem som, AUv3 também tem som

@RobertoBlatt Um abraço!
Anyone else having trouble loading presets in AUM? My folders open and show the preset but it doesn't load when clicked ...
Edit: It's just my apple pencil that doesn't open presets, finger is fine ... kinda weird!
Hmm, weird, contact devs!
It’s só hard to programig this sequencer 🤯
You just need to get used to it, I guess!
Yeah! I have Axon 2, but I have to pratice more with it. The synth engine is great
I clicked the link and the price is $89, not $5
That’s desktop - I reviewed the iPad app which is, or at least was, only $5
Yaaay!🎉
