Gah I just got back from a solo trip in Seoul. The winter was so cold but it was so fun. I think getting a SIM card was a better play than the pocket wifi tho ~

Hello ! For my hotel (Glad Mapo) yes they are allowing early check in but the earliest would be at 12nn with additional cost of 11k won. Hi Just had a question about coffee shops in Seoul. I’m lactose intolerant but love my lattes. I live in Australia and there are so many non dairy alternatives here like soy, almond or oat milk. Are there alternatives to milk like that there too. I’m hoping I don’t have to drink Americanos the whole time there.

You can check further through the website, cov19ent.kdca.go.kr for more details. No covid testing was required at the time of my entry (November 2022). Just note that entry requirements may vary depending on country so I also suggest to visit their embassy website to check the current requirements.

I’m actually moving to Korea to be a teacher for a year but won’t be able to open up a Korean bank account until a certain time. I use a debit card in America but I heard that they don’t really accept foreign debit card??? If you can’t tell me then that’s okay! Just wanted to know your experience with paying for things :)
