Mang you should not have any chlorine in your water if you are using RO water but one never knows what is developing in our reef tanks as far as water quality, keep up the husbandry 👍🏼
I replaced my filters. I guess they where old, im staying on top of it now. Since they really dont last very long.
Wait so you're telling me the carbon blocks in rodis don't work??
My Carbon Blocks need to be changed more since my city uses more chlorine. But they do work
Why not use Prime same thing as the conrinuu plus it helps bring ammonia levels down
Hey whats sup, they both do the same thing.
When I lived in Houston, we had horribly high chloramines. I used a 10lb "clack" catalytic carbon filter prior to my ro/di. Was recommended to me by ADG. I ran that thing for years with no residual chlorine or ammonia ever detected. The chlorine block filters are junk ,they don't last but a few hundred gallons. There are a number of online store making money off multiple and replacement DI systems when they're really not needed. Bang for buck should be on protecting the RO membrane. Should rarely have to change out your DI.
Im interested in the clack. i could only find there monster filter systems. I did see they have filter media
@@915Mang I bought it pre-filled with carbon from ADG, they will definitely be able to help with brand carbon/etc. It's a basic fiberglass cylinder with water hose adapter in/out. They told me it was filled with catalytic carbon used in the medical field.
Is that neon green monti? looks awesome!
Thank You
