That reminds me...I need to go through your vids again. I know you mentioned and showed off the toothpick technique in one of them, and I need to see how you do it. My Blue Effloutanaria is growing super fast and is now dangling its polyps right above my Euphyllias, so before my hammers and frogspawn go on the warpath and end up also attacking my nearby mushrooms whom they have previously not paid any mind to, I need to probably frag my Blue Effloutanaria.
I've had palys in the past and they grew pretty wild. I knew they were toxic and was just careful about touching them to much but now days after reading more about palytoxin in corals I'm kinda doubting adding them to my new tank. Am I just overthinking the risks? Never had issues in the past with big colonies of palythoas just can overgrow their space.
I was alarmed you put the zoas into a bucket without water with your baby in the room. I heard the toxin can become airborne and make the whole family sick
They seems to get along well, only issue is with the mushroom shading the zoas during the middle of the light cycle (shroom would get large and reach out)
The tank really looks good. Great video,, it was very useful information. What do you have under the tank I seen a light briefly for a second,, just curious. ✌🏻🖖🏻
hi I have a 50 gallon tank and I need your advice I really love your channel and I hope u response cause I don't know what to do.I don't really have the money to get a sump do you think I can make it work using a canister (do you suggest me any good ones I ve heard of eheim classic) and a macroalgae reactor? Is it enough for a fish only that will transform in a reef in a couple of months as the system is getting more stable.
Cool video.. but you sped up the most important part.. the actual fragging. I find that some Zoas, such as AOIs, are SO close with SUCH short stems, it makes it damn near impossible to frag...especially when they deflate.
That’s the polyplabs premium frag glue, the only reason I know is because I have some as well, but it’s literally the same thing as the gel super glue you can get at the dollar tree just 3 times more expensive for just one
I think it’s a win when you do something and everything, including yourself, is alive at the end.
Can't argue with that! 👍
When I frag z & p's I look like a damn surgeon. There's no reason to take the risk. Great Vid!! See you next Sunday!
Fragging off babies and zoas everywhere! hehe nice update! the tank is looking good. - Good to know the grandis are on the toxic side!
I love that you're sneaking some baby shots in there.
Where's the big tank just setting there like a Giant paper weight 😂
LOL! I swear it's happening soon...
👌🏻 Every video I wonder where you get the time to make one. Always good entertainment.
Your zoas/Palys are growing well. They’re one of my favorites besides Acans. 👍
Let’s play with Zoas in a confined room with my new born baby! 😮
Awesome Fraggin’ Tutorial and showing us you do it! Great Vids as always. This One, Totally “Appropriate “! Lol
Nice Utter Chaos, mine slowly split, shrank and closed up in Med Flow Med light.
Awesome video man
Nice, a good reefing vid from my favorite youtube reefer :)
Thank you for watching man
You should get an exacto knife to do fragging. Much easier to hold than a blade.
I love this video. Thank you for posting it.
OMG, the baby crying at the end is super cute! Great video sir...I didn't realize you can have paly/zoa out of water for that long.
Can we say over crowded wow!
man i miss the 45!!!!!
I have accidentally glued zoanthes shot not the whole Colony a piece of it. I have also done that with in acan, lost a head.
The utter chaos's look great. I ordered some the other day and the shop sent me the wrong zoa's 😭
Doh, sorry to hear this, hopefully the shop could hook you up with the correct one
@@InappropriateReefer cheers, also thanks for the reply.
Quick question after fragging should I run carbon for the chemical warfare among my tank
Should have dipped them I thought right after fragging ?? I thought dip helps with healing ?
I believe you are right, I just never dip after fragging and never incorporated it into my work flow, probably should!

Why do you glue a rock with polyps to a frag plug? Would just the rock not work well?
Zoas Deffo...... than you for making my mind up for me..
When they close te polyps they look like a plant called fenestraria
Cool vid. Cute baby.
At 16:19 it looks like there is brown stuff coming out of your Sour Apple's mouths. What is that?? Thanks!

Did the mushroom sting any of the zoas? It looks like they’re getting along.

DUDE! Get a coral cutter, works on small rocks too..
Your son is sooo cute😍
Thank you! ;-)
Love the vids!!

Thanks man, I am running a Zetlight e200 refugium light, that thing is a beast!
How much for that pebble with the k us
Nice frags! 💙🐠

Are you actually cutting the zoe's or just cutting individuals off the large piece
Are you planing to sell any of those utter ?
Probably not this round since I want to expand the zoa garden, the next round of fragging I will!
I love the clam!! Do you know the name of it??
You selling some frags?
Would love a frag
Link for the xl baster? I can’t find them that big anywhere
I saw it on Amazon before under the Rio brand, but I can't seems to find it anymore (or even Google search), sorry man..
Hi, do zoas grow faster and multiply faster as a cluster or as single polyps?p
FIRST
How fast would you say your utter chaos is growing
It took almost half a year for the colony to settle in, and then the growth was explosive; these days I'd say maybe new polyps every 2-3 weeks?
Where do you get those flat drag plugs from??
Thx for the video! Do you use coral dip after fragging zoas or does that not help with healing?
Nice
How long have these been growing?
Why don't you just turn on the lights
lemme buy some frags lol
Run some carbon if you don’t already, just to be safe.
Got it running in the refugium now, thanks for the recommendation!
Did you use regular everyday gel superglue or a glue specifically for corals?
That’s the polyplabs premium frag glue, the only reason I know is because I have some as well, but it’s literally the same thing as the gel super glue you can get at the dollar tree just 3 times more expensive for just one
Mok-Yi If you sell the frags pm me thanks

First
Again

those toxins are why i'll probably never go with zoa's or palys as nice as they are.
