First video I’ve watched of yours. I gotta say I wouldn’t mind having a whiskey and hearing more stories like this one. Great looking deer, congrats! 🤘
I shot my Oklahoma buck on the same day at approximately the same time. I had only been in the stand for 45 minutes. They were sure moving on that day.
Wow it just shows me how much I really want to hunt in other states more because here in Michigan the deer don’t come that close very often if you even at all. Theyre so spooky here. Seeing you be able to move is something im not used to. All the deer here bust you if you move a hair. Thats a awesome killshot. Sweet deer man
Hi thanks for watching! The majority of the footage from this video was shot on the Canon R5 with a RF 15-35mm 2.8 lens along with another R5 with the RF 100-500mm. We also used some occasional Go Pro clips
Jeff my man! I always love your videos for the high quality footage and how much you praise God. Other than the tag line of walk by faith shoot by sight the God focus seemed missing from this video. Don’t give in to pressure man. Keep preaching and putting out what you believe in! There’s enough hunting content out there but not enough God content. You are anointed and have a large audience my friend use it!!! This video left me hungry for the next!
Hey Ryan! We greatly appreciate your support of our videos & what we stand for! We will definitely not give into the pressure! God will always be first & foremost in everything we do & we hope people see that through our videos. Thank you again for your support & tell your friends to come subscribe:) haha God bless brother
Congrats Jeff, love that mass, you guys still producing Major Leagur Bowhunter? I bought a hoodie years ago with that logo. Have a Merry Christmas brother!
I had to fast forward it. I’ll watch it again later but for now just curious; how long you waited before tracking it?since you knew it was probably a liver shot.
Hi Ellis, we waited a little over an hour before getting down to go track. Jeff thought he saw the buck go down from the tree but we still wanted to give him some time before getting down. Thanks for watching
yeah if he had all his points/tines, he would've been right around 168-170". Unfortunately, everything happened to fast we didn't even notice he had so much broken. We didn't officially score him but he was missing around 15-18 inches. So right around the 150" mark
@@_BuckVenturesOutdoors_ it happens, I shot a non typical with my bow in central Oklahoma about 5 years ago and he didn’t go 50 yards but he managed to break off 2 points running through trees after I shot him.
that would be correct. We try our best to not pressure our deer which is why we got away with it.... pressured deer are typically unkillable deer. We very rarely go into these spots unless its the rut
I love deer hunting I watch 1000’s of videos a year I appreciate the way you praise the lord but for 99 percent of the guys watching this video we would rather watch the “Hunting Public” that real we can relate to that ! Jeff I believe you love God and the deer but I can’t watch this stuff anymore cause it’s not where I’m at as a hunter !!
Hey Joshua, we appreciate your comment. Hate to hear you won't be watching anymore but you have the right to watch whatever you want to watch. Best of luck the rest of the season & if you ever change your mind, we will always be here. God bless
Just curious how can so many people relate to a group of people that go from one state to another hunting public land all deer season long. Not to mention these guys are from Iowa. When I get to hunt Iowa then I may be able to relate a little bit to them. Not knocking anyone because I only speak for myself as should you.
@@brentbarnett9224 You are mis informed, I think only one of them is from Iowa and that's ted... They hop from state to state to challenge themselves and for content, bCs if the only hunted Iowa they would be tagged out in about 5 days.. we can relate to them bCs most of us aren't hunting 170 inch deer bcs they don't excist where we hunt
@@anitahickey1040 I have nothing against THP. Public land all over the country that 170s are Killed off of every year. And your right the Florida panhandle doesn't have a 170 behind every bush. lol. Don't whine about not having a 170 to kill and go find one.
Every time you mention “northwest Oklahoma” the price of land goes up another 100 per acre. Same thing happened in Kansas in the late 90s and early 2000s. Please stop.
Land is going up $100 per acre every single day all over the country bud. And it isn't going down anytime soon. Us mentioning NW Oklahoma isn't causing that to happen lol people already know where we hunt anyway
Everyone comes from all over the nation to fish here in Florida. So, I go all over the nation to hunt. My only issue is their nonresident fishing license should cost them what it cost me to buy a hunting license in their state. Can't wait to try Oklahoma.
Beautiful, amazing, giant deer 🦌. Congrats man. I don't know what I'd do if I put a buck like that on the ground.
Thank ya sir! We glad you enjoyed! Stay after it & Lord willing, you’ll get on a big boy!

Good to see y’all on YT. Great video. Beautiful buck !
More to come! thanks for watching!
Congratulations Jeff, sweet hunt!!! Nice when a plan comes together quick 👍🏼👊🏼🙏🏼
Thanks Brad! It doesn’t happen that way often but we’ll take it every Chance we get haha
What an awesome hunt Jeff! I’ve had some great hunts in high wind. Appreciate you making the trip to PA for today’s Wagontown Chapel event! Thanks
Thank you for watching! Thank you all for having me!
Absolutely massive mass on that bad boy. Nice job
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed

awesome, congratulations!! They were definitely on their feet that day!
sold the bow like a real conscious hunter, dang that wind.
It was blowing hard for sure!
Shoot-by-site and walk by faith. Absolutely beautiful message, just earned a subscriber on my first video. 🙏
Thx so much!!!

Beautiful footage, an that was a freaking nice buck! Who cares how old he was lol congrats bub! Awesome 👍🏼
Thank you! We were definitely excited to get him on the ground!
Here we go, this should be good!

I noticed you have listed all of your hunting gear but not the video camera or lens used for this footage. Can you link that as well, please, thanks!

Great buck what county ?
this would have been beaver county
Bittersweet right dere
definitely!
Did you salvage the meat? I know from experience that if they are dead long without being gutted it rots.
We did salvage the meat! It was pretty chilly that day plus he didn’t lay very long before we found him
That deer was too stiff to have shot, waited 30 minutes and found.
You must have left it out overnight
It was around 1.5-2 hours from the time we shot him to when we recovered him
Right in the bedroom... ding, clank, bang, break, no way a pressured deer tolerates that noise

Jeff, worried about you as you seem a little out of breath. Best wishes
Just old & outta shape lol
What!@ Monster

Just like that quick and easy they see and kill a giant
it very rarely works out this way for us but we'll take it anytime we can haha
@@_BuckVenturesOutdoors_ I’ve been bowhunting here in Ohio for 24 years I’m still waiting lol it sucks here
Bet you are looking forward to hunting that property again this season. 🤣😂🤡🤣😂
definitely!
Dang you moved so much in the stand before the shot even Ray Charles could have pointed you out. Guess it pays to hunt private non pressured bucks.
Wind was blowing over 20mph & we were 30ft up in the tree. They never knew we were there
Dont be that guy
