Crazy that the little MB2 is in this shootout.. I've had mine for about 6 months maybe and love it. Previously owned Helix LT, POD Go, Ampero Stomp II and a TONEX Pedal. For less than £200 you really can't complain about it.
Great video Jake! I love the guitar as well. To my ears, over UA-cam compression, all sounded very good and once in a mix with EQ would be hard to tell apart. I agree on the in-the-room factor of the real deal being the hands-down winner. I picked up a Matribox II and have been blown away for the price (I run mine through 2 HeadRush FRFR cabs in stereo). I've been a longtime Line 6 fan and have used their stuff for my live rig for years. The IR makes all the difference with the modelers and then how the FOH EQ's everything. I usually play around with my IR's through the PA to dial in what sounds best for me and sometimes that changes week to week. Keep up the great work man. Love your videos and your playing. This vid is amazing!! Do you have the specs for your tone on the Matribox 2? Or do they come preset?
