Our Walgreens got those coolers with the screens. Most of the time half of them are black screens, and the ones that look like they’re working or not displaying the correct product behind. They drastically over complicated something as simple as a refrigerator with a glass door.
For “Take the Money and Run” the key fact is that they specifically commissioned pieces that were supposed to be $70k in dollar bills attached to the boards to create a design, and then a couple thousand dollars in commission to the artist. The museum didn’t sue for the commission back, they just wanted the money that had been meant as art supplies. It would be like them buying a giant slab of marble and the guy turns in a clay pot, the value of art is subjective so maybe they still deserve compensation for the pot but there’s no scenario where they get to just keep the slab of marble.
