Kerali's base is starting to look like Pablo Escobar's jungle hideout. Secret mail boxes, bush farms and airfields. All that is missing are hippos in the lake.
Keralis, you experiencing something for the first time is not spoiling anything! I wait for the day we grow out of this idea that you observing something..in any state of its development..somehow ruins it for others. We live vicariously through you in this Minecraft World. Every glimpse, every interaction, those are the moments we wish to see through your vision. You could never show me an angle of Bdub's Base that I would regret to see as it grows over time. It does not grow in small 20 min episodes every week. Nor do you take away from the end result or tarnish that builder's creativity in any way. Please stop limiting yourself in this regard, there are many incidents over the seasons that you or others may show a building/project that never receives any love in other Hermit's videos. Thanks for all your effort and hard work. You have a great sense of humor as well as amazing ability and vision. It's a real pleasure to catch one of your episodes.
I agree! Avoiding spoilers in livestreams I totally get, but videos get posted after the fact anyway - so what we see in this video likely isn't even what's there in real-time. It's a super kind gesture, but I wouldn't want to miss out on hermits genuine curiosity or reaction to the other hermits on the server except for pre-planned tours etc. It's the spontaneous coming across things that make the server feel alive, especially for a viewer! It's only a small thing though
The bridge you built by Beef's is excellent, but I do have a tree suggestion: I saw down in South Carolina and when I lived in New Orleans, there were plenty of palm trees and a jungle humid environment, but there was also some big ancient oak trees with hanging moss! I think on the left side facing your base should be an old gnarled ancient oak.
Seconding this, I can think of several beaches in the southeastern United States that include palm trees and oak-like trees. And other more different kinds of trees as well.
Joel wasn't selling any Hunny until the Server Tour where Cleo gave everyone Diamonds to buy some Hunny, so I'd say there's still hope for the Booshes to sell
This is the part where Keralis goes off on a massive side quest to build a 2nd maze layer, which quickly expands to massive size, gains mechanics and becomes known as Booshed Out.
I’ve been watching you for over a decade and seeing your kids playing minecraft made me remember Wife Vs Minecraft when Mrs.Keralis was pregnant with your first born. They grow up so fast. Love you Keralis
The best part of Bdubs' forest is that the creek thats not water does have water flowing underneath to give the sound of flowing water... Bdubs is something else for sure!
Hi Keralis! Not sure if you’ll ever see this but I just wanted to let you know that I started watching your videos when I was around 9 I believe. I grew up too poor to own a computer and was limited to my crappy tablet when I was a kid. I binged all your videos and incidentally ended up copying almost all of your builds I think. That tablet is corrupted and broken now but I still remember how happy I was when I finished one of your builds and thought I was cool because I thought I could build like you. I developed my own style over the years as I finally had enough for an Xbox and could start building more creatively and complex but anyone with a keen eye can still see the extremely heavy inspiration I took from your builds. I just want to say thank you for supporting my childhood when it got rough. It really means a lot. Even if you don’t see this, that’s ok. But you pulled that younger me through some really tough times by distracting me with your happy personality and your style of building. Kind of felt like you were an older brother teaching me how to play Minecraft. I’m old enough to smoke and drink now (21, crazy how the years fly by) but even now I still go back to some of your tutorials to get a refresher or to fill in my new city. You have no idea what those years growing up getting to watch you meant to me. From the bottom of my heart thank you man. Thank you and Godspeed 🤝🫡
33:00 I can't believe Keralis went on a tour to get inspiration and actually got inspired by a bridge made by skizz. It's insane how he can see the best of the build and use it to improve his own buildings.
@@krekcabnow2910 I don't think that was putting Skizz down. Skizz himself talks about how he wants to be a better builder and isn't the best. Building is a skill that people can improve on, acknowledging where someone is in their skill is not putting them down. It's a compliment that someone in the beginning of learning a skill can inspire someone who has been considered a master of it for a long time. It just goes to show no matter how long you've been building, you can always inspire, and be inspired by, anyone else.
@@clutterbot7279 I see none. It’s just like Joe selling what he mined to those that can sell it as a supplier. Or Doc supplying wood for Joe's wood permit. Or any permit that gives shares. So many things I love in this video. The crab song caught me so off-guard I thought it was timelapse music. XD Keralis's reaction to the Honey Song was hilarious, same with the reaction to Skizz's bridge. Also loving the gorgeous addition to the base (i.e., every addition so far)
For some variety, you can make an incredible cattail by placing a 2 blocks vertically, putting 2-4 brown candles on top of it, then breaking the blocks. Put down a grass and bonemeal it tall! The randomization of the number of candles and the variety of tall grass placements will give you a lovely sense of busy-ness!
Two notes: 1) The maze token should only be redeemable for one stack of bushes. 2) Honor system is great, but the door from the Maze to inside the shop should be a one-way door.

I love that even Skizz' "makeshift" mangrove root bridge had its place in the list of potential inspiration. The root block really is a good but easily overlooked material
Hey Keralis, have you heard of the Stop Killing Games campaign? We're trying to stop game companies from destroying people's games after the point of sale and making them lost to history like so many films from the early 20th century. We started a European Citizen's Initiative and it still needs 700K signatures from EU citizens before July 2025. It would be great if you could tell your audience about it!

Keralis, for the maze, you could put an iron door right next to the pressure plate to prevent cheating if you are worried about it, also, you could make it to where the trophies are only good enough for one stack.😊
Hey Keralis, maybe there’s a team of demolition experts you could hire to clear out that unsightly melon field Beef has left on the edge of his property. Maybe you could build a little port on the river too, for your yacht…

If you made the observer power a sticky piston single-ticking a redstone block, you should get a single powered pulse to the firework dispensers
