Doesnt help statistics even show that this season was poorly recieved just as the last 3 were too...then to make the statement that the season was short and gone by fast, isn't true when its been a good 6months. History repeats itself and next year/season will be a failure just like it has been since 2015
Gumbo filé is made from sassafras root, it's used to thicken your gumbo if you want it like that. It's pretty common for people to top their bowls with a sprinkle of filé before serving

The seatbelt piece is so you don't have to dig for the one that is installed in your vehicle. It is an EXTENDER which makes it really easy to use. I have one and I love it.

Because I AM from and living in germany and I never ever seen or even heard about some americans making fun insurance commercials. WHO ARE THEY??? Also, the notion that germans would flock to or swarm around them on the street is just straight up ridiculous. We don't do that, not even with really famous people (except maybe at premieres, concerts, and other eventlike stuff) IF they exist like the story is told (I'm not saying Lucas is lying at all, to be clear - but I believe he was lied to), I want to see at least one of their commercials really, really, REALLY bad :DDD

Yes, pounded sassafrass leaves. Mostly used in 'winter' gumbo when okra isn't available. This was something used by the local NA tribes.
I always use both file and okra. Gumbo doesn't taste right without the file and i love the slimy texture from the okra.
