Can The Weaklings Duo Survive ANY Boss? - Elden Ring
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 чер 2024
- In this elden ring video I'm testing if a duo made by godrick and morgott can actually defeat any of the main bosses in elden ring.
To carry out this test I've enabled all grabs and decided to have them both start off in their 2nd phase to give them a better chance to win (they're still pretty weak sadly)
Battles:
0:00 Intro
0:33 Rennala
3:00 Gideon Ofnir
4:14 Radahn
6:37 Astel
8:46 Ancestor Spirit
9:23 Rykard
11:04 Fire Giant
13:31 Godskin Duo
14:30 Placidusax
15:41 Maliketh
16:54 Mohg
18:08 Malenia
19:30 Radagon

Morgott is no weakling
I appreciate the thought but why does he lose to his own shadow if he's no weakling lmao
Im takling Lore wise
Oh yeah I agree on that, but this is the game lol
I know but i found him Hard probaply becuase i suck bit still
@@BjornTheBear When tf does he lose to his own shadow?
13:50 * Morgott kills the apostle and hears a second death sound * "You got yours too, Godrick?" * turns around * "Oh"
*Other Godskin* "You gave him too much credit"
In fairness, Godskin Noble hits MUCH harder. But yeah, Godrick is easily outclassed.
lol
Gets hit by a flaming turd after muttering those last words...
Morgotts moveset designed to bully the tarnished by delaying all his attacks is so funny when it backfires on an opponent that can do 5k damage while he slowly lifts his sword over his head
That's why I just lions claw him, dude looks like a noob taking forever to swing while getting hit for 2000
Yep not intended for other enemies with high poise
I notice not just Morgott but any omen in the game have rather delayed attacks that make it really tough to tell when to dodge. The one that gets me the most and has caused me the most headaches in any souls game I’ve ever played is the ever annoying mohg.
Rennalla's first phase is nearly impossible for any boss to break through without having stupid big aoe
Which makes it laughable watching Morgott struggle to solve who to fight.
Morgott when players fight him: A boss which makes you sweat so much
Morgott in Bjornthebear’s videos: Fucking dies
I’ve never seen anyone say morgott makes them sweat or is even remotely a struggle tbh
@@nathanc4298 that would be me tbh. I have fought Radahn at lvl 60 and got him down to less than half health at best but for Morgott... He was disguised as a noble without a boss arena in the capital of the Erdtree. The worse part is that I can't even summon spirits to help me. The most health I took away from him is 50% at best. I can't even dodge the hammer properly because of the holes
@@RandomVs189 Thats not even Morgott, thats just another Margit lol (but he is kinda difficult)
@@RandomVs189 that’s not the boss lol, that’s just a manifestation of him in leyndell.
His actual boss arena is at the erdtree.
@@elmolovesyou2320 oh, sorry about that. I'm new to the elden ring game
Imagine being Morgott and Godrick, fighting some random beast in a cloak, and then he rips his cloak off to reveal that he's the one dude that everyone's scared of
Beast clergyman: Call an ambulance...
*Cloak burns off*
Malikith: But not for me!
Like THE dude who wields Destined Death as a weapon
@@jaredgreathouse3672 quite literally the grim reaper
Tfw your uncle is the grimm reaper himself
Putting Morgott in the same realm as Godrick is slander on a ridiculous level, the man is a badass. Lore-wise he could probably unironically take on like 20 of Godrick before breaking a sweat. Unfortunately he's a prime example of gameplay not living up to the lore. He's supposed to be one of the strongest beings in the entire lands between but for some ungodly reason he gets a meager 10,000 HP, most of his negations are a flat 0-20% save for Holy, and he has the same poise as Malenia without the hyper-armor on every attack she gets when he's twice her size.
An idea I had was because Morgott can be fought after getting a plus 9 somber from going to volcano manor first, I would love it if he got stronger if we were to do that first before going into Leyndell and absolutely rolling him
Morgott’s moveset is entirely designed to fuck with players, not other bosses. And yeah, his hp is nothing, he needs it doubled at least
@@TheWither129 the problem comes when it no longer fucks with people
HIs issue is his placement, youre over geared once you get to him
@@majesty2699 nope. Even when going in weak he's still a joke
I'd love to see a video like "Can Godrick graft his way to become the Elden Lord?" where Godrick gains a portion of stats of whichever boss/creature he defeated =)))
You are a genius
Yeah Ive been thinking for a while the only reason Godrick loses all his fights is hes the first boss. His moveset is actually pretty solid for killing other bosses.
And attacks
Call Godrick a weak crap all what you want but we all have to admit that his move where he ignites and jump rolls in the air to land a massive ax hit is AMAZING and very criminal against poise. He landed is several times for great effects.
Honestly almost everything about godricks appearance qnd fighting style is awesome, and gross. Sucks his lore is basically that he's just loser
I think Antonio is right
I wouldn't call Morgott weak tbh, he's not the strongest but he's definitely not a punching bag like Godrick
The best description I have ever heard for Morgott is "The strongest boss yet, and the weakest for the rest of the game".
@@mrmastaofdesasta6994 I've said something similar
"He's the last dark souls boss"
Hey Godrick needs someone his own size. Perhaps 'Margit' would fit in the category.
In all honesty tho i found Morgott to be easy, but its prob cuz i was leveled and studied his moveset.
I think they mean weak in terms of boss vs boss, morgott losses alot versus other bosses.
@@pandosham what does that mean?
Gideon: I will become Elden Lord.
Morgott: Put these foolish ambitions to rest.
It's funny bro, I thought exactly the same thing
Didn't do half bad
Godrick: Gideon, playing to be a lord
Man, as soon as Placidusax takes to the sky, that fight is _RUTHLESSLY EFFICIENT_ at how brutally he annihilates them in three hits, and then cleanses the area with fire just for good measure.
it was beautiful to see
Placidusax is basically "you guys just keep playing around during p1, and in p2 i'll show you what a real boss is".
I was honestly surprised they even managed to get him to phase 2 though
@@grimmylocked He's pretty static during phase 1, and they both have AoE attacks that multi-hit larger targets, and he can stagger, so it's not _too_ surprising that they managed it together.
Placi is the goat. It was also satisfying to see how Maliketh absolutely ANNIHILATED them
7:05 Better start calling him Starscourge Godrick because he just made Astel KNEEL
Also they actually did a lot more to Fire Giant than I could have ever expected
Im rolling bro ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
Rennala and the Ancestor Spirit would never hear the end of how they not only lost, but allowed Godrick to survive
Ancestor spirits are super weak to holy and fire so it was kind of made for this fight
Let's not act as if either is exactly a powerhouse themselves 😅
I would no joke give morgott double health and slightly stronger attacks like 15% more.
He is easily one of my favourite bosses in elden ring and imo has the best moveset out of all bosses in the game but is held back by the fact he's dead before we can see the said movesset
Ye, he needs more health and poise, and maybe slightly stronger attacks. Still, his moveset is very much designed to work against the player, which makes him even worse in these kinds of videos
This is basically a “can morggot survive any boss?”
looooooooooooooooool man give Godrick some respect
Yeah Morgott really was pulling 90% of the weight. In fairness to Godrick, though-- his poise breaking with the fire and KNEEL helped a little bit. Sometimes.
@@kaiserdetectivegolden2735His theme is great.
That’s it.
@@kaiserdetectivegolden2735 Godrick is actually respectable in his final moments, lorewise.
He's always been this weak joke of a demigod, who had to grovel for mercy before Malenia, fleed Leyndell in disguise, and overall has always ended up running or begging for his life.
And then the Tarnished, the future Elden Lord, comes along, and stomps him into the ground again. Does Godrick beg for mercy again? Does he run? No, he freaking cuts his own limb off and grafts a dragon head in a final act of defiance and "show of power."
Of course that power is nothing. Even Agheel's fire is tenfold more dangerous than the light show Godrick put ups, and a Tree Sentinel is way more powerful and fast than he could ever wish to be. Godrick has no real power, yet he does believe he does.
Yet, in his final battle, he didn't run or beg, he fought to the death with everything he had, and went out in a blaze, that if it lacked real power, was still a badass move and a final stand. Godrick died closer to being a lord than he ever could have gotten in life, as little closer as that may be.
So... Yeah. Godrick does deserve some respect if just for not running or begging again.
@@lotusluminance5872 that's why I'm beating the game with a grafting focused build (grafted greatsword and the grafted dragon from godrick's remembrance)
Poor Godrick, the runt of the litter. It's about time he had his revenge: "Can ANY Boss Survive NG +10 Godrick?" (other bosses being base game).
Guessing this was made for the purpose of godrick winning for once
Exactly lol
@@BjornTheBearI wouldn't count the wins for godrick the gloryfied speedbump. It wouldbe moreinteressting if he had to solo it in his second phase
I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but I think Godrick is genuinely interesting to watch for various npc fights. It's just that his crap stats mean he isn't actually fighting for very long (because he dies too quickly). He might be more entertaining on his own with 2 times, maybe 3 times his health? Messing with his damage output would feel like going too far, I think.
I agree, he has a really cool moveset, even more so against other enemies. But in nearly all battles he is thrown into he has by far the weakest stats.
I dont think anyone is arguing he doesnt have cool moves, hes just weak af
Malenia is always just 1 waterfowl away from victory
Love How morgott doges mogh's First blood Flame encantation like he seen it before
13:05 Godrick makes Fire Giant kneel and yells "bow before me!" Actually epic.
I'd like to see a video of which bosses could survive Morgott aided by both of his Margit shades, the Mohg shade, and Godfrey's shade.
That would simply be a massacre
Morgoth but he bundles all of his magic instead of giving it in piecemeal
Watching Morgott almost solo Radahn makes that opening image of him pinning Radahn make sense.
As others have said Morgott is no weakling.
He spawned both Margit's (stormveil and capital outskirts) along with projecting the golden shade of Godfrey and then had to fight us without all of that. I would like to see a boss survive that.
He means in game not lore
Challenge accepted
@@BjornTheBearwell I didn't think I'd get this far. Thanks man.
Eh hes easy in my books. Then again i have been leveling up and understanding movesets. Its Godrick im rootin for now.
@@xaphan_fallen_angel there's a mod that allows morgot to use shades of godfrey like malenia's clone attack. And he's constantly raining down the rain of sword thing...
It's a nightmarish fight..
The Scoreboard:
Renalla lost, as most people expected. Both Morgott and Godrick survived.
Sir Gideon Ofnir also lost. He needs to go grab Renalla and re-enact the Sorcerers Duo video. They worked great together. On the bright side, he did kill Godrick.
Radahn won; that meteor gets nearly everyone he fights.
Astel lost, despite Morgott pulling out the sword rain at the absolute worst possible time. Godrick still died.
Regal Ancestor Spirit lost. Both Morgott and Godrick survived.
God-Devouring Serpent won; Morgott missed his chance to get revenge on Rykard.
Fire Giant won. He's probably the first to kill Morgott before Godrick.
The Godskin Duo won. Morgott at least won his duel with Godskin Apostle, but it wasn't enough.
Placidusax won. Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, especially not ones who were once Elden Lords. Placidusax probably had to go through his own version of the Tarnished's quest, he knows how to beat early and mid-game bosses standing in his way.
Maliketh won. The beastial incantations weren't enough, but that giant sword sure was.
Mohg won the brotherly argument by Nihil-ing Morgott to death.
Malenia won. Seriously, who was expecting anything different?
Radagon won, despite Morgott hoping to have a talk with him about why he sealed the Erdtree.
Elden Beast also won.
Godfrey gave both his errant children/descendants a spanking.
Lore wise and in gameplay (as a player) Morgott is, quite scary
However his move set is very specifically catering towards fighting players, not in general, so unfortunately he gets minced by other bosses that aren’t godrick.
Godrick meanwhile is Godrick, therefore lucky the tarnished didn’t sneeze on him the wrong way and kill him instantly
If morgott heard you calling his "weakling" he will respond with "thy kind are all of a piece."
Also Radahn's meteor is the ultimate comeback.
Godrick here feels like a new player in an MMORPG being carried by a midgame level player through dungeons for fast leveling.
Unironically
Most of these bosses were like:
“Wait… that tree wearing a blanket is a person?”
And then surprised when the tree wearing a blanket killed them rather than the dragon wielding chunk of meat
I really like these duo videos, it gives the weaker bosses a fighting chance. It's also interesting to see their dynamic working together. Thank you and keep up the great work!!!
23:05 - When you're play fighting with your kids, and one of them hits you a little too hard
Morgott: I basically soloed astel.
Godrick: I died in about 10 seconds of engaging in combat.
This is so cool! Thank you for making these videos that are so entertaining
5:41 did anyone see morgotts insane dodge?
Oh fuck niceee
I've never played Elden Ring but I've become super invested in these vids, started to see some of the bosses' individual personalities, and enjoyed your comments about them and the fights.
Could Godrick ve scaled up a little bit to be at least near the same stats as the boss he’s facing? Feels kinda unfair since he’s basically the first demi god
Godrick a demigod?
Wasn't it said he's pretty down the Golden lineage, so he's more akin to a distant cousin to all the demigod children?
@@Karak-_- As far as I am aware, he is considered a Demi-God, just one whose divine blood has been heavily diluted and thus he is the runt.
7:28 Probably how the sky looked during the skirmishes between Red-manes and Clean-rots and 16:59 Mogh casually and calmly walking through Godricks most awe aspiring move was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen 😂😂😂
What about a video where a scaled up godrick vs all bosses?
Human spaghetti needs a win for once too
The Elden Beast slow movements felt like: " You two aren't even worth my time!"
I like thos dudes videos because his boss vs boss ideas are unique and the way he changes their AI doesn’t usually break the game and make the fights boring
Malkeith set them up so good with the rocks in the air during his transformation 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Gideon's "I need help!" gets me every time.
Morgott is my favorite boss for both lore and game play, I wish he was more difficult.
Love these videos and LOVE this game!
One common thing with your videos that I love so much is Gideon crying “I need help!” Idk why it’s so funny to me and I’m always looking forward to it lmfao
Godskin duo fight looked so cool, in how they both immediately split for 2 1v1s that kept them both in the action. Pity it wasn't close at all
Man, some of godrick moves are so cool, wish he was stronger. That moment when he grabbed Gideon I was just imagining his laughing was because Gideon always made fun of him
I've figured out why I like this series so much. It's like a kaiju battle only I don't have to wait for an entire movie to pass until they get to the fight.
Morgott needs to be buffed , first of all , how he has so little health while having a great rune that increases hp by 25% ?!
I guess his actual health is 1/5 of what we see in game. Or he ran out of rune arcs. Either way skill issue on his part, should've invested in Vig.
Sir Gideon, The all knowing
Can you do morgott and mohg vs all the bosses in the game btw love your stuff keep it up! ❤❤
I like how you tried giving them a chance against Radahn but they ended up doing worse the second time xD
mohg's double poise break at 17:21 *chef's kiss*
I don't know if you have done a video like this already but I think it would be super cool to see a brother team of Morgott and Mohg, and see who they can take on.
What about that super strong magic guardian golem boss hidden in the platforms at the edge of the map? Never seen him in any NPC fights so would be cool to see him in action!
I hope one day whether it’s a dlc or lore we get redemption for morgott he he deserves better, while all the demigods failed he took the mantle and not only that but just the fact he delays his attacks ( to make us the players mad) but when we just deal 10k damage a hit then it isn’t ofc he’s gonna be the weakest, hope in a dlc or some we see him just at an absolute evil state where he just goes in ham no delayed attacks just pure power
Mir fällt grade auf, dass Maliketh, the Black Blade aussieht, wie ein mutierter Dunkler Paladin von Yu-Gi-Oh 🙈😅
Top Videos, mehr davon😁👌
Despite how Godrick definitely isn't pulling his weight, I feel like these two actually make for a uniquely synergetic pair for a boss fight. Something about Godrick's sweeping fire move going off at the same time that Morgot rains swords down from above really just covers the battlefield so well.
They definitely wouldn't be on par with the late game bosses, but it would have been interesting to have a duo fight against these two at about mid-game. Maybe with a slightly buffed Godrick to not be *quite* as stupid and slow to react.
Love your videos
Morgott legit almost grabbed Mogh out of nihil
One step closer to +5-10 Morgott vs all bosses
Godrik laughing while slaughtering those juvenile Scholars is so incredibly in character, I bet he hasn´t had such a cathartic experience in years
Morgott kicked radahns ass with a cane. I wouldn’t call him a weakling. Sure the devs fucked up and gave him too little hp, but I’ve died more to him than any other boss in a video game
He's the hardest boss for me. Sure he doesn't have a lot of HP but his moveset is one of the most confusing out of everything I've played in Elden Ring and Bloodborne.
@@matiasluukkanen7718 That's Radahn, if you look at Rykard's portrait he has long wavy hair while Radahn has the spiky puffy hair. And you can't see a beard in that art, just the top of Radahn's head. Also the art shows the gauntlets to have white fur which are identical to Radahn's gauntlets.
That was a young Radahn before he obtained a Great Rune so Morgott, who is older than him, would no doubt beat him. Rykard attacked the capitol at some point to claim his Great Rune, it's very likely Radahn also claimed his great Rune with Rykard during this attack and while Morgott succeeded in repelling them, the 2 brothers got away with great runes from the Erdtree.
@@pinkvillafantasy All in all, morgott is a badass, although not as much as a badass as something like champion gundyr or ivory king
@@Zapdos97 A lot of people tend to beat soul of cinder from ds3 in only 10 or so attempts, but he actually has the biggest moveset of any fight in the entire series, and i find it a challenge. If you like fast paced combat and challenging movesets, then ds3 is the game for you. It also has the best ost
@firstorderblade4432 Nice. Haven't played it yet but I'll give it a try. Are ds1&2 recommended to play too or can I just go to ds3?
It would be cool to see morgott fighting all bosses with the same area scaling as them. He has the moveset to triumph over most bosses, just not the stats
We need to see a video where Godrick is comically powerful and crushes everyone.
3:45 I was waiting for this 😁
ok 7:27 was gorgeous. like a clash between light and dark
You should do a video with the omen twins against every boss!
Watching Godrick snatch up Godfrey was actually pretty awesome.
Have you thought about doing a 2v2 tournament? Either match up the teams by lore or how well they do solo (ie. morgot+mohg or godrick+rykard). Even a 1v1 bracket would be cool
the clutch rounds are the best!!!
Missed opportunity for a "I need help."
Always enjoy it.
It was actually there lol
I wonder how far the Omen brother Morgott and Mohg would get.
Surprised that they reached Godfrey's second phase
Was hoping to see how they fared against Commander Niall, but I'm glad the Weaklings managed to get a win or two out of this video! Haha.
Radahn bowling a perfect game, you love to see it
Radahn eating good tonight!
Unfortunate that you did not include Fortissax, I notice he doesn't get featured much in these. Figured they'd have a good chance of winning if they faced him.
16:15 Beast Clergyman: Call an ambulance…
Maliketh: …but not for me !
All you gotta do is pit them against an underrated boss like Lansseax, Loretta, or even Dragonkin to test if the Weakling Duo is really that weak, and if the underrated boss wins, not only did they prove that the duo is weak, but they proved their whole redemption.
22:33 I love how every time Godfrey gets grabbed, Serosh is literally separated from him. It’s like Serosh is a whole different entity compared to Godfrey.
Godfrey in the end making sure his son is obliterated
Damn look at all the Morgott simps getting mad that he got called weak 😂😂😂
Yea, and here i am defending Godrick. 🤣
Staly tho Godrick could win a few rounds with buffs or company, and Morgott can put his foolish ambitions to rest.
You're looking at this the wrong way. Morgott is not simped enough. He deserve way more than that
Not so sure about simping for an omen who constantly belittles the Tarnished. Hes like Genichiro- have the best intentions but the way they present themselves makes me reconsider
I want to know if Rennala and all her summons can beat every boss.
i found it interesting how godrick began to outlast morgott in the later bosses due to morgotts holy damage becoming essentially useless further and further in. godrick cannot aim that dragon head for the life of him though lmao. so many appendages and no joints
I think you should do two rounds with Gideon in future Vs battles.
One where he has his base move set and then one where he has the three boss spells.
Morgott's back must REALLY hurt after carrying that useless fop through all this...
I love how Godrick screwed them over during the Godfrey fight: grabbing Godfrey made him immune to the damage from Morgott’s sword rain for the duration of the grab animation - and the grab did minimal damage, far less than the rain.
Typical Godrick move…
I wonder how many bosses could survive the full night's cavalry
Godrick: Cuts his own arm off, rips off a dragon's head and attaches it to his severed arm
Bjorn: "Weakling..."
Man put the taurus and capra demon agains dlc bosses and expected something 😭
I'm surprised its nit a trio with Renala in the back
Ngl radahns meteor landing and malenias waterflow are kinda getting on my nerves in these videos :p
Melania pressed the “win now” button a little later than I thought she might.
We need a "Gideon needs help compilation"
Next video: strongest duo vs any bosses
How about a video of morgott vs every boss, after adding the stats of both version of margit with his?
Can you make a video: Carian Family (Rennala, Radahn, Rykard) vs main Bosses?
The Malenia moveset is the most beautiful thing i ever seen.
My boy Mohg demonstrating the power of nothing. Glad he wins 100% of the fights he gets to use that move.
Plz do more big battles
